Maybe you are tired because you have never finished a single death. Yes, I said that. You have never finished a death. You have left too many versions of yourself half-dead, half-alive, trapped between worlds, still breathing, still attached. All those times you knew something was over and you didn't bury it properly. That's what's leaking your energy.

In the tundra, when something dies, it feeds the soil. The crows come, the foxes come. It's gone clean over. But in the modern world, you don't finish things. You keep dead friendships on life support. You keep wearing names that no longer fit. You stay in identities that already rotted last winter. So you drag them behind you like spiritual carcasses, wondering why your legs feel heavy. Nobody talks about this, because it's easier to sell healing than to teach people how to properly bury their dead. Not just loved ones, but selves.

The version of you that stayed quiet to survive, dead.
The version of you that thought love was earned by shrinking, dead.
The one who tolerated intolerable, dead.

But you didn't burn them, you kept them in your basement. And they are still feeding on you, that's why you wake up tired. It's not vitamins you need, it's a grave deep enough to stop what's still twitching. Let me say it even colder. You are a human graveyard that never learned the rituals of release. In the North, the old ways knew this. We had up here ceremonies not just for life and death, but for all the little deaths in between.

Changing your path? Death.
Leaving the tribe? Death.
Saying no to who you used to be? Death.

But you just crawl past it. You move on without marking it. You move on without mourning it. So it festers. It eats you from the inside. It becomes fatigue. Tiredness is not a flaw. It's a sign that you have left too many threads hanging in the wind.

So here is your medicine.

Finish your death. Stop dragging what's already gone. Hold the funeral for the parts of you that can't come with you anymore. Make it loud. Make it holy. Burn something. Bury something. Say goodbye because life is too heavy when you are still carrying all your old skins. That's not self-care. That's survival. And no, this won't sell in the wellness industry, but it will set you free.
