Lowkey they look good together, it kinda makes me want to pair them. But I already gave the galaxy girl a gf and idk how I feel about making the my main mascot, who is sort of meant to represent me, dating a girl when me myself have never actually felt attracted to one.

You know, despite everything that Ollie turned out to be, there’s one specific thing that I love about him.

The way he talked to Poppy in the “Ollie” tape.

[A bit of a long rant incoming. I just need to yap about it].

That tape has always been my favourite for a lot of reasons, but that’s for another time.

Ollie knows Poppy is trying to put up a front. I admire that instead of withdrawing after she tells him that she’s fine, he persists.

He persists on getting her to open up but it doesn’t feel forceful, it’s more like pleading. Because her well-being matters that much to him.

And when he does get her to open up, he listens to her. quietly. and waits for her to finish pouring her heart out.

It’s so important to stay calm and listen in a situation like this. let the person talk about their feelings. be accepting and don’t judge. and just staying with them until the end.

Then he offers comfort.
He doesn’t pretend that everything is fine.
Because it really isn’t.
What they are doing to Poppy and to all of the experiments is wrong and nothing could ever erase that.
The company tried to rip away every semblance Poppy has of herself
And Ollie does what he can to give a bit of that semblance back.
Poppy is not nothing, because she is something to him.
It doesn’t erase the pain they went through, but they are doing what they can to make most of the situation.
And a big part of it is being there for each other.
They have such a meaningful bond and nobody, not even the company, can take that away from them.

I heavily appreciate the way Ollie handled it. And how much he truly cares for Poppy.

Honestly it makes me sad. The Prototype is doing everything he can to make Poppy feel safe and happy. But now he’s taking things too far. Not only did he end up hurting others, he ended up hurting the one person he’s dedicated to protecting.

I don’t think he realizes that conversation with Poppy alone is enough. I don’t fully know the reason behind everything he’s doing. But he doesn’t need to kill anyone or build a paradise, because this level of sincerity is enough.

If anything, he was probably one of the main reasons Poppy was able to stay strong and hell, even have the hope and determination to lead the toys and try to save the orphans. Would it be a stretch to say that his words to her is what made her the person that the rebel toys admired and followed in the first place? I feel like his words even influenced how she tries to comfort and reassure toys like Kissy.

Unfortunately, he is blinded by something and it escalates the situation further. Poppy, despite her pure heart, ends up doing the same. Destroying any semblance of safety and comfort in their relationship.

Honestly after writing all this, I could be wrong about some things. Maybe even all of this. At the end of the day, this is only my interpretation of their dynamic.

But one thing’s for sure. This is the most wholesome we will probably get out of their relationship ingame.

Still, it’s significant because of the sincerity in the tape and shows that despite everything, there’s a sense of comfort and belonging between the two of them.

I opened gacha life 2 for the first time in forever and found these two sillies.

Eternal Sugar’s update was the one update I actually caught up with, AND OMFG I LOVED PAVLOVA SM. He took position as my fav male character.

I think I was going to make a video with these two because they have PEAK ANGST- before my dumbass lost motivation again.
