🔥 Let’s Talk About Betting Apps… and Player Rights 🔥

Everyone loves a little friendly wager, but here’s a real question nobody’s asking:
If betting apps are making millions off player props — whether a guy scores, how much he scores, if he hits a home run, drains a three, or finds the end zone — shouldn’t the players themselves get a piece of that pie?

Think about it:
These companies are literally profiting off a player’s name, stats, and performance. That’s basically using them as a product without cutting them in. The leagues get paid. The apps get paid. The sportsbooks get paid. But the players? The ones actually doing the scoring? They get nothing.

If you can’t sell someone’s jersey without a licensing deal…
If you can’t use someone’s face in an ad without permission…
Then how is it any different when an app is running thousands of bets labeled “Player X to go over 22.5 points”?

Seems like the same thing to me — except the players aren’t seeing a dime.
