Arctic North Adventures
Lofoten is changing.
The North I know the silent, raw, and unforgiving landscape is facing a new reality.
Between the record breaking cold and a winter traffic crisis that has reached a breaking point, navigating these islands has become more than just a journey; it’s a lesson in survival.
From the graveyard of rental cars on the E10 to the quiet reflection at Flakstad beach, I’m taking you through the honest, unpolished truth of Arctic winter life in 2026.
The full film premieres this Sunday at 01:30 PM GMT + 1
See you in the North.

The Arctic is breathing again.
The storm has moved off the coast of Vesterålen, leaving behind a silence you can only find here in the North. Tomorrow, I’m sharing a different kind of story one that moves beyond the typical "drama" and into the raw, quiet reality of life in the Arctic.
Join me for the blue hour, the G4 aurora, and a look at the life "in-between" the extremes

Building this life takes time.
Right now I am deep in the van build, finishing the back doors while working outside in Arctic winter conditions. Between that and consulting work, filming has slowed down more than I planned.
This photo was taken on one of those quiet nights when the Northern Lights remind me why I chose this path in the first place. Not for speed. Not for comfort. But for freedom, meaning, and the chance to build something real.
New videos are coming soon. Thank you for your patience and for being part of this journey.

Quick update from the van build.
I am currently rebuilding the back doors and doing all the insulation and woodwork outside in winter conditions. That takes more time and energy than expected, especially when I have to balance, work at the same time.
I really appreciate your patience during this phase. New videos are coming soon once this stage is finished and I can focus fully on filming again.
Thanks for sticking around and supporting the journey. More progress and better content is on the way.

I’ve spent the last few weeks documenting what it actually looks like to survive 24/7 with no SUN in a van. It isn't just "dark, it’s a physical weight that changes how you think, how you move, and how you manage every amp of power in your batteries.
The new video is live. I’m showing the side of the Arctic that the TV crews usually skip over.
Could you handle 30 days without seeing the sun, or would the silence get to you first? 👇

A moment of calm between the storms
Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year to my incredible community here on the North Road.
As the polar night holds its grip over Sortland and the snow piles high against the door, I’ve been taking some time to reflect. This year has been a journey of rebuilding not just the business with Arctic North Adventures, but also finding that balance between the harshness of the Arctic and the peace it provides.
Whether you’ve joined me on a private tour to chase the Aurora, followed along as I clear the driveway with the snow blower, or simply sat with me in the quiet moments of a video, thank you.
Your support is the fuel that keeps the fire going during these long, dark winters.
I’m looking forward to 2026 more wildlife, more midnight sun, more struggle, and more growth. I hope your holidays are filled with warmth, wherever you are in the world.
Stay wild, stay curious, and I'll see you in the next storm.

When life gets too loud or people let you down, what is your escape?
I chose Option A. In my latest video, I talk about why the honesty of the Arctic wind is better than the masks people wear. If you haven't seen the 'why' behind my journey yet, you can catch it here:
