Just watched Superman (2025), and I genuinely enjoyed it! While it’s not a cinematic masterpiece, it’s one of the better comic book movies in recent years. James Gunn’s signature touch shines through, with spot-on casting that brings the characters to life. David Corenswet delivers a stellar performance as a wholesome, youthful Superman, reminiscent of The Adventures of Superman not the godlike presence of Henry Cavill’s portrayal, but a refreshing and grounded take.

The supporting cast is a highlight Jimmy Olsen, Lois Lane, Mr. Terrific, and especially Metamorpho were fantastic! Chemistry between lois and Superman was good, Lex Luthor steals the show as an unhinged, maniacal villain whose hatred for Superman drives him to chilling extremes, even contemplating harming a child. Krypto, the super-dog, is an absolute delight his showdown with Lex is pure comedic gold!

That said, the film isn’t flawless. The humor is hit-or-miss, and some supporting superheroes are introduced abruptly without proper setup. The action sequences are thrilling but lack the larger-than-life impact you’d expect from Superman, though this aligns with the movie’s more grounded approach.Overall, Superman (2025) is an entertaining watch and a promising start to the DCU.
I’d rate it a solid 7/10—definitely worth checking out for comic book fans!

I don't know why people aren't talking about this new Superman footage. It looks amazing. Looks like this time James Gunn is going to make us cry even when a robot dies.
Only 4 months left I can't wait to see our Superman on the big screen after 13 years🦸🏻‍♂️
