Hey ya'll ! I hope everyone has been doing awesome since the last post. Unfortunately this is Drews Son, Chris. I thought I would send a quick update to his family and supporters. Typing this out seems a lot more tougher than I imagined.. I don't really know where to begin.



I arrived April 8th from Canada to come visit my father as I got some not-so-good news.. As you can imagine, we were given the alarm for his timeline... We got to spend some time together for a few days but things took a turn and since then I haven't been able to have a conversation with him..... Hiromi and I have been by his side since , never losing sight of him. His current condition is that he is bed-ridden and can no longer stand on his own two feet. We have also had numerous visits from the doctors and nurses to help facilitate with setting everything in his home, this way he is comfortable and can be surrounded by his loved ones.



What's next?



Nothing really.. It makes me very sad at this point because all we can do now is wait...



I want to thank everyone for all the love and support everyone has provided for my father, it truly opened a side of him where he was passionate about what he was doing, he was himself, not pretending to be someone else or mimicking others.



I will be keeping all of his platforms open for the time being and sending updates when something changes.

Also the picture was his last day outside and the last day we had a conversation.. April 14

I will be posting this message and various platforms (Patreon, YouTube, Discord and Email)
It has been a very hard week for me with the following happening.....
Monday I experienced nausea badly which we believe is a side effect from the Gamma Knife radiation..... I have not eaten all week even though I am take meds for it. From Mon to Wed I experienced pain in my tummy and back pain on my right side. Due to not getting in for Chemo last week, they doubled up my pain killers also.
I finally got admitted to the hospital on Wed and started chemo on Thurs.... after various tests (blood work, x-rays, ultrasounds etc....) they still do not know what is causing my tummy pain but obviously it is causing me not to eat. I have not slept in 3 weeks (waking up every 2 hours or so) due to pain and I am getting so tired of this lol I do hope with this chemo things will get better with the pain and nausea.
I am sorry I can not go LIVE on YouTube or Patreon for awhile I think (or until I have the energy) I have never been in this position before where I truly feel I can not do anything...it sucks!
I have been bed ridden now for 6 days and have been trying to sleep and rest probably 21 hours a day..... but I promise when I get back to being DREW we will be there as a community.
So... I will not be live for our regular Sat stream (Sorry) as like I said I am in the hospital and can hardly function and really do not want anyone to see me in such a terrible condition.
I will be out of the hospital tmr and please keep your well wishes coming for a good recovery. God only knows, I NEED IT!

Ladies and Gentlemen!
The cat is out of the bag lol
As announced in today's live stream, after Monday's results of being told my cancer has metastasized to my brain, Thursday's results has now show I actually have SIX small tumors hanging about in my brain. It truly is an awful feeling but there is hope!
On Monday I will be entering the NTT Medical center for Gamma Knife Radiation to attack all six tumors at the same time. This procedure is painless (from what I am told) with a high percentage of success (90% or so).
I will enter on Monday to have another MRI and CT scan as well as a fitting for a "Gamma mask" (No idea what it is really called) I will for 4 consecutive days have this radiation (approx 45 min per day) Tues - Fri.
I am scared and anxious, nervous and a basket case but with your prayer and well wishes I will kick cancers ass!

I ask for your help in supporting me on GoFundMe more than ever! We have raised 15% of the goal so far and that was used for the previous chemo, PET scans, MRI's, CT scans and outpatient appointments and I thank you!
With your help it really males me happy knowing I can survive financially as I am not working for the last year, mentally knowing our community is behind me AND hey if I can get through this we can have many wonderful live streams, community events and continue making friends, new friends along the way.

Dear TD Crew!
I would like to thank you all for being there for me, making our community an amazing place to "get away" and not only experience Tokyo through my eyes but all the friendships that have been made over the years.
As you know, my journey with Stage 4 lung cancer as had many ups and downs but I AM trying to be as positive not only for myself but for those who may be going through the same things I am.
Unfortunately, I need your help yet again as (if you follow my updates) the tumor markers started to rise and we are back on chemo treatments.... I just finished round 7 last week with 1 more treatment in 3 weeks.
Mentally is been a rough ride but waking up and appreciating daily life really puts things into perspective. Take each day as a blessing y'all!

Hey TD Crew!
Is been awhile and just would like to inform you of what's going on....
This week is my low blood count and basically hibernating at home to not get sick....will 4 days ago I caught a cold 😩 due to my chemo I have to be watched closely.... Today I am on my way to the hospital for a CT scan and will find out results on my cancer next week....
It truly sucks not live streaming with y'all and I'm sorry for that 🙏
I will be back either Fri or Sat for a live stream...but it seems once a week for now is all I can muster the energy to do.
I hope y'all understand and I thank you for your patience 🙏

Hey TD Crew!
Well, round 5 of chemo is done and I'm home resting! Due to this different chemo (Carboplatin) along with the new pain meds (OXYCODONE) I am a bit out of it for a few days 😩 trying to stay strong 👍 and keeping up the fight! Will be doing this for the next 4 months hopefully with good results and move into a new Immunotherapy in Dec 🤞
I truly miss not being live as much but I guess my health and welfare is where I need to focus!
