Food, streets, and the little things most people walk past.
I'm a Canadian traveling slowly and paying attention. A few months in Japan so far. The Detail Map is about small discoveries from real places, food, streets, shops, and the everyday systems that reveal how a place works.
Right now, the main chapter is Japan. Convenience stores, vending machines, street food, sushi details, grocery-store surprises, and long walks through real neighborhoods. Next, wherever the walk goes.
日本語のショートもあります。カナダから来た旅行者が、日本の「当たり前」を面白がって記録しています。自販機シリーズもこちらから。
Every place has details. I try to notice them.
