Thanks to the hard work of a large team of volunteers, we are happy to share this unique and rare archive from Cambridge's first local cable TV station, which operated on Channel 8, with footage spanning from 1997 to early 2003.
All videos are currently being digitized from the original SVHS and VHS tapes—these were the station’s log tapes, stored in a secret location for years. Unfortunately, the tapes are now nearing the end of their lifespan and are in poor condition. We’re in a race against time to preserve them before they’re lost forever.

Good morning, another weekend gone 😜 More scheduling rather than demoulding and editing. Not enough time in the day.
There's been some amazing feedback and messages about the archiving, there's been the excitement of sharing with their children to friends who had no idea!
Coming up this week today at 6pm is Out and About - the crew behind On A Friday who jump on a train from Harlow. It's brilliant to see the Millennium Dome and new London Eye! Also, entertaining as they run away from security!

Amazing what faces appear 😮
Usually what happens is a tape is put into the deck once everything has been checked over and left to capture, imagine my surprise as I glanced at the monitor whilst getting the hoover!
