ᛝ chapter one — for those who need it

one of the biggest lessons i learned from last year was you should be you

be your authentic self, don’t try to fit in so much that it makes you change.

it’s your very own story. don’t make the background characters steal the your spotlight, as your life revolves around you.

﹌﹌﹌﹌﹌﹌﹌﹌﹌﹌﹌﹌﹌﹌﹌﹌﹌﹌﹌﹌﹌
but…
being yourself doesn’t mean you should stick to the current you OR be the best version of yourself.

keep evolving, growing mentally, learning new things, discovering new styles, changing passions, being curious, improving yourself, listening to new genres of music, visiting new places.

and most importantly,
trying the thing you want the most

don’t be afraid to start something you think you’re bad at, cause, how’d you know if you never begin? what if you turn out to be good at that thing? what if becomes your talent? what if it becomes a part of you?

don’t give up. let people think what they want, it’s not gonna get in between your progress. they’re just nonsensical words
a professional dancer, athlete, coder, writer, artist, whatever, won’t never judge you for being a beginner. they know the struggle. hence, the only people judging, would be those with no ambition & passion

don’t waste your focus on them. keep doing and you’ll get there eventually. slow & steady yet consistent wins the race.

disagreeing with someone’s opinion is completely alright. we all have different views.

but calling them ‘uneducated’, words that shouldn’t be spoken or saying you feel ‘sorry’ for their fans is completely unacceptable.

please, mind your language when you’re expressing disagreement towards one’s views. it’s not that difficult. learn basic respect.

or just scroll away. engage with your own people, people who agree or will agree with whatever you say.

harassing a fourteen year old because she didn’t enjoy the way one of your favourite idols spoke to their fellow member is very… i don’t know what to say. this made me upset.
