The root of idolatry — in your own heart you decide what is holy and appropriate never seeking/submitting to God’s word. Mankind creating a holy day, burning incenses & worship because of the ease and comfort of the people. The leaders affirm the people in the lies and error, and never correct.

The root of idolatry grow from using other nations method of worship while ignoring Yahuah (God’s) ordained and commanded feast days. You add too and take away from the way ordained by Yahuah (God).

This sin is birthed from believing that doing it Yahuah (God) way is too much. Hating that it requires effort, and your leadership and the people would rather not submit to proper worship but replace it with what suits their own desires.
