Happy Halloween!!!
It's been exactly a year since I uploaded my Project Moon Horror Video and I'm still Super Duper grateful for all the positivity it's gotten since then!! Remember to appreciate all the little things that add up to make this franchise what it is this Halloween, maybe read an abno log or 2 if you're feeling extra spooky.

On a content-wise note, video progress has been extremely slow because I'm back in College and I'm swamped with assignments and general coursework. Rest Assured I have scripts in the works and one is in the finishing stages of writing so I can't promise a video before the end of the year but I'll likely make another post before then anyways.

I know 1 video in an entire year is abysmal and this is the worst upload """schedule""" I've ever had but I still enjoy making videos as a hobby, even if extremely slowly. I apologize for the absolute drought in content from my end.

So I know my posts get repetative but I do enjoy keeping in touch with my community tab, even if just check in and get rid of the cobwebs in the corner.

In the meantime here's to Cowboy Fixer Cope for another who knows how long

Ender Magnolia, The Sequel to Ender Lilies released yesterday. I hope everyone playing it is having a blast and I'm once again using this as an excuse to shill Ender Lilies.

I'm not far in Magnolia but it has been just as gorgeous an experience as it's predecessor, and Mili once again cooked a gourmet roast with this soundtrack. Even if you don't plan on playing these games (you should) as a Project Moon fan you owe it to yourself to listen to these albums.

I've been very patient waiting through early access for this game to fully release and I'm thrilled to say that so far it has been worth the wait, and I hope that it's the same for everyone else playing. It helps that I've become a big ol Castlevania fanboy this past while so I have a greater appreciation for good Metroidvania Design.

P.S: Is a review something people would like to see? I was thinking about making an Ender Lilies video for a while considering that I can gush about that game till I'm blue in the face.

An Indie Game I've been following for ages by the name of "Magenta Horizon" has just left early access this week. It's completely developed by one Korean dude by the name of Maddison Baek, and it's criminally underrated for how polished of an experience it is. It's a 2d hack and slash platformer with some light metroidvania mechanics. But the whole thing boasts a gorgeous, unique, twisted artstyle.

It has a free demo that covers the first act of the game; approximately the first third of the story.

But for the full game, It's only 6 euro/dollars on steam until the 12th and I genuinely sincerely cannot recommend it enough. I also need to make it clear that this post isn't sponsored; it's just a real kick to play and it's been a passion project of the dev that has been an absolute treat see come to fruition.

Today marks my 3rd anniversary with the Project Moon Franchise, and in tandem my third year on Youtube. It's time for the yearly checkup, self note diary post thingy I do as an annual tradition.

Firstly, I apologize sincerely for the severe lack of uploads. I have uploaded 4 videos this entire year compared to the dozens upon dozens I was able to pump out last year. But this is just the way it's gonna be going forward. My, I guess I can call them "longform" videos are my main way of making content now as I find them to be extremely fun pet projects to work on. Especially because they let me flex useless knowledge I know about these games.

Speaking of that though, are people even enjoying these? I haven't stopped and asked. They're a far cry from my memes of old but I feel like I've landed the content transition well enough... well, as well as 4 videos in a year can be.

Video Mumbo Jumbo aside I've been pretty distant from Project Moon this year. As is no secret by now, I dropped Limbus after the Christmas event in like January, the one with the goblins, and haven't returned to it since (aside from a brief 2 hours in March to get footage lol). The only exposure I've had to the game is through unmarked spoilers I've seen in completely unrelated areas of the interwebs.

Now truthfully I have had the urge, the kicking feeling to go back and play it every now and again, but I haven't and after hearing that an Arknights Collaboration is confirmed, it's completely quelled any sort of current will I've had to play Limbus. For now I'll just go back to my bi-daily schedule of reading Distortion Detective and pretending that's where the series ended, with a nice unfinished bow on top.

The Next Video I'm working on is slightly different from the "Project Moon's ___" formula that I have been doing, but it is gonna be another long john, I just like to talk a lot, it will still be Project Moon centered of course. Also Thank you soooo much for 12k subscribers, we hit 10k at the beginning of the year and I was jubilated. I already made a post giving a big thank you but I'm doing it again... so.... THANK YOU <3

That's about it though. Content will keep coming next year but as slow, maybe a bit slower than it is at the moment because College is kicking my ass, but we just gotta keep on keeping on regardless.

I know it's lost all meaning at this point and I know that saying that it's lost all meaning has lost all meaning. But sincerely, from the bottom of my cold critic heart. Thank you to every single person reading this for supporting one of my favourite hobbies.

So apparently Arknights is having a crossover with Limbus Company sometime in the future, it will bring 4 "Arknights Inspired E.G.O" and 1... announcer.



What's the consensus on this one gang? Because I feel like a crossover is a pretty huge thing for better and for worse. Being a long time fan makes me feel like a parent on this one. On one hand it's really nice to see Project Moon hang with the multimillionaire big kids, but on the other hand I don't really like his friends and I think they're bad influences on him. I'm happy he's happy but that feeling is sullen.



To quickly make note of it, I have had a long hatred for Arknights for one singular reason. Not because it's a gacha, not because it's boring. Nah, I hate that they made Blitz from Rainbow Six Siege a pretty boy, they gave him that Midas' Yaoi touch, and ever since then I've had a slightly jokey, slightly serious distaste for the game. I've already ran my opinions on gacha into the ground so hard on this channel that you could plant a forest on it's remains.

They also said that this would be the first truly limited time banner, meaning that the game is fully shifting into FOMO territory (as if the full season wait for Battlepass stuff wasn't rough enough) and if these EGO are any bit good then you either gamble now or wait for God knows how long for the next collab to happen.



But if Project Moon really wants to act cool in front of their new friends... Give us an Azur Lane Crossover pretty please, it would only be the second time that Formidable appears in the official Ruina artstyle!!!!



But those are my quick thoughts, overall I don't like the idea of a crossover full stop but as long as they never do Identities and stray away from making them "people" in the world, then it isn't all gloom from a story perspective. Keep it spectacle with no substance, after all Collaborations are only promotion at the end of the day. But from a gameplay and player experience PoV, it's genuinely scummy to introduce EGO that could potentionally be locked away forever. I'm looking at you Neptunia crossover in Azur Lane.

Ender Lilies is currently Free for Playstation Plus members this month. I've shilled this game a million times before and I will shill it a million times again. It's a gorgeous little experience and pretty short too so it doesn't overstay it's welcome. It also has an entire OST composed by Mili if that's what you fancy.

With the sequel currently in early access, there's no excuse not to play it if you're an active Playstation Player.

For the rest of us, it's 25 Euro normally but goes on sale for a comfy 15 bucks on most sales which is more than worth it in my opinion.

It's one of my favourite games ever, please enjoy!!
