Yarnell Art is the official home of the original Jerry Yarnell School of Fine Art and Inspiration of Painting PBS series. I own and preserve the master recordings of these shows, and although I’m not related to Jerry or his family, I’ve been a devoted fan of his work for many years. It’s an honor to keep his clear, encouraging teaching available for artists of all levels.
Here you’ll find free PBS lessons in acrylics, oils, watercolor, color mixing, values, landscapes, wildlife, and more. Since 1999, Yarnell Art has been the only authorized source for the complete Jerry Yarnell School of Fine Art PBS video collection, along with the full Inspiration of Painting series. Thank you for helping preserve and share Jerry’s wonderful legacy.

Don’t worry, nothing else is changing — you’ll still see the same painting tutorials, tips, and art lessons that you’ve come to expect here. 🎨
