I wrote “Neon Hearts” at 3 AM in my studio, staring at the city lights outside. It wasn’t about one person—it was about everyone who’s ever loved something they couldn’t hold onto. That electric feeling when hope glows brightest in the darkest moment.

The neon aesthetic in this track came from a memory: sitting in a car, rain on the windshield, and this feeling that love doesn’t die—it just transforms into something bittersweet and beautiful.

When I produced this, I kept asking myself: How do I make sadness sound like hope? The answer was in the layers—deep, pulsing bass meets ethereal melodies. Darkness meets light.

This one’s for the late-night listeners. For the ones who understand that sometimes the most beautiful things hurt the most.

How “Into the Blue Light” Became Real

I started this track around 3 AM, which is where all the honesty happens. The idea wasn’t planned—it came as a feeling first: that moment when you’re searching for something in the dark, and then you see light. But not the kind that burns. The kind that pulls you deeper into yourself.

I worked with vocal stems, processing them obsessively over weeks in Logic Pro. EQ, frequency adjustments, layering, reworking. Some people see that as less “real,” but it’s the same thing a traditional producer does when they direct a vocalist in a studio—shaping, editing, refining until it matches the image in your head. The difference is I’m the one making every call. Every decision. The vocals you hear are sculpted exactly as I intended them to be.

Aveline Grey’s voice was the perfect collaborator for this. She brought the yearning I needed—that reaching-out-in-the-dark feeling. The production is intentionally cold and cinematic, with that late-night introspective mood that Empyrean Echo exists to explore. It’s meant to feel like 3 AM: vulnerable, searching, but also strangely safe in that isolation.

This isn’t about the tools. It’s about the feeling you’re left with when the track ends. And if you felt something—if you understood that moment of searching—then we made something real together.

And loneliness into something that maybe helps someone else feel understood for 3 minutes.

A lot of people hear melodies.
But behind every track is usually a version of me trying to survive his own thoughts without becoming cold.

I don’t make music to act rich, famous or untouchable.
I make it because some emotions are too heavy to carry in silence.

Maybe that’s why people feel TokenX.
Because it’s not manufactured emotion.
It’s real life processed through speakers.
