It’s been so long since I posted on YouTube!

It’s been an absolutely wild year and I’ve just not had the time to make a new video

As a quick update you may have seen my work in your city!

One of my images from a project about Ukrainian refugees was selected as a winner in the British Journal Photography’s Portrait of Britain awards

Alongside being published in volume 7 of the book, the work is also on display on digital billboards across the UK

Between developing that work, over 70 commercial commissions and all the usual life stuff I also began my MA at Salford University, published a zine with OpenEye Gallery, exhibited at the Turnpike Gallery and began a new project!

I hope to be able to share more work with you soon and at some point makes some new videos 😁

Merry Xmas and Happy New Year!

Thank you all for the support this past year!

I've not done nearly as much as I've wanted to this past 12 months, unfortunately reality calls and growing my business has been the priority. I'm a long way from being able to support myself financially through YouTube so for now going out getting work and paying the bills comes first.

There's been a lot of interesting and positive projects that I've been able to work on, both developing my own experience and giving me the opportunity to develop artistic works.

Next year I'm aiming to make some more videos about art and photography but for now I'm just reflecting on the last year and how I've developed my business and my own skills

If there's anything you would like to develop in 2024 whether its a personal project or just a hobby/interest let me know in the comments and I'll put it on my agenda to make a video about

There are thousands of deceive moments in every space, place and time.

And time in photography is constantly elastic. A second can last for a thousand moments and a day can pass in a single image.

This series was about those concepts

Hello new and old subs!
I wanted to say hello and thank you for all the recent activity on my channel.
Those who’ve seen my older work will know it’s been a while since my last long form video and a lot has happened since then. Check out my shorts for some updates.

For anyone who recently found me this channel is all about art theory, specifically photography.

I’ll touch on technique and technology every now and then but overall my goal is to make photography more accessible for everyone by demystifying all the jargon and debunk all the pointless and useless info the fills the world of photography.

My degree is in art with photography as a medium, I work as a freelancer commercial photographer and my personal work has been published by the British Journal of Photography, SkyTV and Rankin Creative.

Looking forward to seeing more of you soon!
