Happy Sunday 💕
If you have watched my latest Luxury shopping vlog - you will have seen the amazing Fendi artisans at work in the Harrods pop-up. And all the hand-stitching really reminded me why I fell in love with design in the first place - not for the finished piece - but for the attention required by someone to create it. Human hands creating things might actually be the real luxury right now.

NEW Vlog is live, Harrods #AW26 luxury shopping edit💕 - #FENDI exclusive pop-up (with Fendi artisans handcrafting the Baguette and Peekaboo) - a £55,000 Louis Vuitton Runway Keepall bag and #Mirumi bag charm exclusive which seems to be all the rage now.

We just did a day trip to PARIS from London for our 10th wedding anniversary🥂🇫🇷 -Eurostar there and back in ONE DAY, plus a little luxury shopping and way too much French cheese. NEW VLOG is up now and I hope you enjoy it.

Happy Sunday - no Vlog today, but I have done some more design musings on my Substack.

I went to see the actual Lady and the Unicorn tapestries at the Musée de Cluny in Paris on our 10th anniversary trip 🦄 - and honestly I could not stop staring at the edge to edge covered flowers designs. And it really got me thinking about why we're craving this kind of "more is more" maximalist designs again after years of quiet luxury.

Sorry about the slight delay getting my latest #Luxury #Shopping Vlog to you - life got a little busy, but it’s now up my channel.

Hi everyone
Happy Friday.
I have been doing some more design musings on my Substack; I think "quiet-luxury" had a good run, but this autumn, fashion just got LOUD again 🖤.
Bruised gothic florals at Altuzarra, plaid layered under florals at Etro, texture on texture on texture at Dries Van Noten. It's a lot of course and honestly, I think that's kind of the point. I think these "too busy to even glance at" prints are doing the exact same thing as a sketchbook, they force your eye to actually slow down and look.
