God,

We lift up Jamaica to You right now, every home, every soul, every mother, every elder, every child.

As this hurricane draws near, we ask for divine protection over the island.

Let Your presence wrap around them like a shield.

We speak peace over the winds, stillness to the waters, and strength to the weary.
Cover those without shelter.
Guide those making hard decisions.
Hold close those who are afraid.

May no weapon formed in the skies or on the ground prosper Father 🙏🏾.

We also pray for those around the world with family in Jamaica, holding their breath, waiting for news.
Wrap them in comfort.

God, we trust that You are the calmer of storms, and that even in this, You are near.

Amen.
