Some stones are a little like paintings. They draw you in, make you pause, and invite your imagination to wander. The more you look, the more you begin to see — and not everyone sees the same thing.

I love that about stones. What first looks like a wooden artist's mannequin might become something entirely different with another glance. A pair of sauropods might tell a love story that transcends time and place. A strange formation might become a galaxy splitting into new worlds, watched by a tiny, red-headed, blue-bodied seahorse.

And sometimes, two figures become one simply by turning a stone upside down.

Perhaps that's the beauty of looking at nature through an artistic lens. It's not always about what something is, but about everything it could be.

What do you see?

For the past few days, I haven’t been able to respond to your messages and comments. I only now feel ready to share why.

Three days ago, I lost my second father - my beloved father-in-law, and my teacher in so many ways.

Just as the heart can be filled with immense joy when a new life is born, it can also be filled with just as much sorrow when someone leaves us. It’s a part of life…

Sometimes, all we can do is accept it and be quiet for a while.

Sending you all my love. 🤍

Hello, my friends! 😊

I'll be away for a little while again, so I won't be around much. But don't worry - I’ve left things in Jake’s capable hands, just like always. 😄 He’ll be here to help you with anything you need until I'm back.

I'm hoping to return as soon as I can. When I do, I hope there will be plenty of beautiful rocks, great stories, and fun conversations waiting to catch up on. 😊

Sending each and every one of you a big hug. Take good care of yourselves, and I hope to see you all again very soon! ❤️

Hi everyone, hope everything is going the way you want. I want to do a quick shoutout because I know some of you are going to appreciate it a lot.

As you might know, we don't list all of our rocks Ebay or Etsy; we sell many rocks directly -- as in off-Ebay, off-Etsy. This way, we are able to offer rocks at the lowest prices possible, because we take out the middlemen, Ebay and Etsy, and their horrible fees.

Bottomline: If you want to take advantage of the above, just message me with your email and I will add you to our mailing list. That's how it works, by the way. Every now and then we send emails with various rocks. If you like any, you let us know and pay with Zelle, PayPal, or Venmo.

Thank you friends and fellow rockhounds!💗

I’ve always been inspired by ‪@LookAtThisRock‬ 's artistic perspective on stones - but I didn’t expect to encounter such a deeply expressive and refined creative voice.

By chance, I discovered that we were featured on the blog, and I’m truly grateful. Being included in such a thoughtful and artistic space is a real honor for me/us.

Thank you so much, Jon - this genuinely means a lot.
You put a huge smile on my face.💞☺️

😮 Although the blue agate with black rutile and hematite sprays first caught my attention, I must admit I truly fell in love with the pattern. Beneath a missile head, people appear on the left, while on the right a grotesque figure seems to be giving us the middle finger. I love agates!
