The only version Kokushibo ever loved of Yoriichi is when they were children, before the comparison, before Yoriichi was proven the strongest.

And his only dream was being the strongest — now completely shattered by Yoriichi.

It was first surprise bc everyone thought Yoriichi was weak and deaf and unable to even pick up the sword, and when disappointment with pride that even if he couldn't be the strongest and save humanity — his little brother can. Kokushibo when he was a child didn't simply want to become the strongest with no purpose, he wanted to become one to save humanity. And... Even if it stings a little that he couldn't be the strongest, at least his little brother, Yoriichi, can save everyone and they can be a team!

And when their father's abuse rotted and ruined that... Quickly. Ruined both of their dreams and rotted Kokushibo's pride and proudness of Yoriichi. He replaced it with envy and hatred.

Now:

1. Kokushibo doesn't care about humanity, he just wants to become his dream. The strongest. He forgot the purpose.

2. Yoriichi didn't even want to become a swordsman after seeing his brother's envy in childhood and just wanted a family instead. He was forced into a purpose truly didn't want.

Yet, ppl keep ignoring all of ts and making them a "silly happy twins and Kokushibo only acts like that bc his stubborn !!" Or "silly sibling rivalry !!" 🫩🥀✌️

They see:

Two brothers.

One is obsessed.

One is naturally gifted.
And their brain immediately goes:

“Haha! Silly rivalry! Just stubborn brothers being dramatic! They’re probably hugging by the end of the day!”

Now, don't get me wrong — I absolutely adore when ppl make them silly and all that. But, SOME PPL ACTUALLY THINK THEIR RELATIONSHIP IS GENUINELY LIKE TS ✌️✌️
