Happy weekend to all of you fine folks! About 2 months ago I got hit up to switch browsers from google chrome to operagx and after using it for a while im never going back. Has built in ad-blockers, uses less ram and resources than other browsers to result in better in-game performance and fps, and its highly customizable.

Just hit 300 power yesterday, here’s my way too early thoughts on the power/gear tier grind.
1. I like that it takes a while to hit max power
2. We have until September to hit 450 and then december to hit 550, we’re used to being max a few weeks into an update and the whiplash of that change is making people feel uneasy
3. I HATE that the best way to get max power is spamming the same activity 200 times, thats boring
4. Bungie should incentivize playing different activities, like if you do ALL of the solo ops then you get a 3-4 powerful engram payout or something
5. I HATE that the only way to get max power is just playing a f-ton
6. Hard activities should reward higher power loot, if I do a raid with feats I should get +5 to +9 drops depending on how many feats I have on
7. Tiers should’t be tied exclusively to power
8. Similar to how hard activities should give more power, they should also give higher tiers of gear. Im talking like a 5 feat raid should drop tier 5s even if you are power level 100.
9. Some people wont have enough time or wont be good enough to get tier 5 gear and thats ok. Same as 99% of other MMOs. When I played WoW I never dreamed I would ever get mythic raid gear and I was ok with that, still had a lot of fun and my character was sick.
10. Reason this is ok is because different between tier 5 and tier 4 is negligible. Talking a maximum 4 stat point difference per armor piece (sometimes 0 because tier 4 can roll with 75 total) and an enhanced origin trait on weapons. Its truly single digit percentages of difference.
TL:DR -> Long grind good, spamming same activity bad. Need alternative skill option to bypass grind so good players with not a lot of time can still get rewarded for their skill.
