Dr. Jitendra Kumar
I graduated and post-graduated in history from the University of Delhi and then completed M.Phil. and Ph.D. from Jawaharlal Nehru University. My teaching journey began with valuable experiences at prestigious institutions such as PGDAV College and Indraprastha College for Women, where I honed my skills in teaching papers like Ancient and Modern Indian history, Rise of Modern West and Delhi Through the Ages, etc. I also taught as guest faculty at DU colleges such as PGDAV College and Kamla Nehru College for one and a half years. In between, I taught UPSC aspirants at Plutus IAS for about one and half years where I got the opportunity to prepare my comprehensive notes on topics of history, including PPTs. Currently, I am teaching history at Maitreyi College, University of Delhi. Beyond teaching, I actively pursue research in my area of specialisation—land reforms and peasant history, and socio-cultural history of South Asia.
