Sometimes the most interesting audits are the ones where you have absolutely no idea what's going to happen...
That's exactly how this one started.
I headed out expecting a routine public-interest audit, remained entirely within my legal rights and on publicly accessible land... but before long, the day took a completely unexpected turn.
Some people were calm and professional.
Others... not so much. 😳
There were questions, challenges, misunderstandings and one reaction that genuinely caught me by surprise.
And after finally solving a frustrating technical issue that's been driving me mad, I was also able to end the day with some fantastic drone footage. 🚁

As always, I'm filming lawfully from a public place while taking a closer look at a major UK business and how it operates from a public-facing perspective.
This visit turned out to be very interesting. I had the opportunity to learn more about the site, the business itself, and how it's connected to some of the biggest names in the UK's parcel delivery network.
But there was one thing in particular that caught my attention...

I'm back in Ipswich for my first audit of Edison House Group in a couple of years… but this visit didn't go as expected.
Before the audit, I take a deep dive into the company's history, published accounts, Companies House records and public reporting. During the audit, an employee approached me whilst I was lawfully operating my drone, leading to an incident that I've now formally reported to the police.
I've also contacted the Information Commissioner's Office regarding the site's CCTV signage.
