I’ve been inactive lately due to my exams, but I’m here to write a post about the hate Cortis and Coers have been getting recently.

1. Lngshot fans are blaming coers, saying that we started the hate train by calling them “evil cortis” and claiming that we call them a “cortis copy,” which is completely false. The tiktok account that made the whole thing go viral wasn’t even a Cortis fan. In fact, I’ve seen many coers on tiktok hyping Lngshot. I haven’t come across a single coer account on any platform calling them a copy. If you have seen one, then they’re just immature kids who don’t listen to music outside of kpop. So please stop generalizing coers.

2. The whole “all coers are ped0 noonas” narrative is disgusting. If I ever come across an adult coer making inappropriate comments about Cortis, I always make sure to call them out and report them. But generalizing an entire fandom and throwing around accusations of ped0philia for fan wars is completely wrong. There are many teenage coers as well. The reason you mostly see adults at fan meetings is simply because you need money to attend those events, which adults are more likely to afford.

3. “coers are saying Enhypen’s Knife is a copy of Cortis’ music” again, I haven’t seen any coer saying that. Most of the accounts saying that are either Enhypen antis or Cortis setup accounts. Even engenes on twitter know the truth and they aren’t blaming us.

4. “coers are saying Cortis performed TXT’s deja vu better.” well the fanwars between coers and moas have been pretty bad lately, and I wouldn’t say either fandom is innocent. I’ve seen coers discredit TXT just cuz Martin contributed in the production, but I’ve also seen moas saying Cortis’ vocals are bad, performative, using TXT for clout just because they didn’t perform the song in the original key.


Anyways stay tuned for cortis upcoming OST "mention me" for the animated movie, GOAT on Feb 13.
