Happy New Year everyone ❤️
This year's celebration was a quiet one for me. No fireworks or big parties. I stayed home trying my best to protect my pups from all the noise 😆💪 It gave me a chance to reflect on the past year, and oh my...it was a wild one, wasn't it. But my heart feels so full, and I feel incredibly grateful for all the blessings in my life.

You are a big part of that. Your support over the years has allowed me to do something I truly love, and that is the greatest gift anyone can recieve. Thank you would be an understatement. But for a lack of better words...

My channel has been a bit quiet, but there has been a lot happening behind the curtains. My New Year's video will be out very soon.

Autumn in Paris 🍂
Can you guys believe it's already November? I came back from a big trip few weeks ago and I was going over my finances. And I wanted to give a little update on my low-buy year.

-Once a week dining out: we are getting closer to this goal. But we are cooking at home A LOT more compared to the beginning of the year. Lots of freezing soups + ingredients prepping + eating at home before going out.

-Small electric car: we decided to get a smaller electric car that is a fraction of the cost for transportation. It takes a long time to charge with a tiny solar panel, but it's worth it!

-Going to different stores for different food: never understood why same products will be priced differently at different stores 🤯 I plan out my weekly groceries and make multiple trips for what i need ( the stores are all right next to eachother anyway) it makes a difference.

-Credit card points for travel: Thank you Marriott bonvoy card 🙏 it came in really handy for our France & Sicily trip

- Investment pieces: I actually bought a couple of key pieces that tie all the pieces in my closet together. An autumn coat, belts, scarfs...etc. went to a clothing swap too! Which was fun.

And top of that, now my husband is cutting his own hair at home too 🤭

Audiobooks are great.

Kindle is ok.

But...

Some books need to be held in our hands and need to be read very slowly, line by line.

The corners need to be folded over and over again, and every other sentence need to be highlighted

because it is just THAT good.

I asked on my Instagram @malamalife the books they believed deserved a place on their physical bookshelf. And the community answered! Here is a compiled list of what everyone said.

If you need a good summer book, I hope this list can help you as well. If there is a book that is missing from the list, write it in the comments below. And of course, you can always borrow from the Library for so many of these titles.
