The last episode in the ‘calculating Pi’ series will be out this Friday 2nd May at 20:00 BST / 19:00 UTC. Will the end be a fanfare, failure or something in between?
The aptly named episode 7.5 will be out this Friday 18th April at 20:00 BST / 19:00 UTC. It’s a direct follow on from the last episode making up a two-parter on long binary division & reciprocals … getting conscious brevity isn’t my strong point ;)
Starting the edit for the next episode (due out next Friday 4th April) ... this time featuring my 'busiest' slide yet ... which somehow seems necessary for me to explain how I'm pulling off binary long division on my relay computer.
Got all the raw video prepared so today is edit day for episode 5 and I think it's going to be close to the 30 minute mark this time as there's a lot to cover but ... finally ... there'll be a demonstration of my computer running something for a change ;) Video due out this Friday 7th 20:00 GMT.
Just having a recording day for episode 5 of my Relay Computer Pi series. As part of that ended up with 25 mins footage of me soldering. Just wondering if that's worth posting on its own as a kind of 'ASMR' type video - no talking, just me and a soldering iron?
Bit of an explanation for why things have been quiet: www.relaycomputer.co.uk/posts/2022/05/intermission… ... nothing overly dramatic going on but to say you should start seeing content flowing again but it'll be a bit more varied than before and split between videos, posts and coding.
I know it's been a while but provided I can remember how to use Davinci Resolve there'll be a new video coming out today :) ... oh, and I can only tell you this of course because I've just gone past 1000 subscribers so thank you all ... it always amazes me that anyone else is interested in this stuff :)

Summer is over and the nights are drawing in ... which means I'm picking up my hobby again. Any guesses for what this might be?
