Man it would be great if the shorts system wasn't so busted.

Like seriously it pisses me off to this day to such an extent cause you aren't even allowed to make short videos in an aspect ratio that isn't 16:9 anymore. It automatically crams your video into the shorts sewer, no questions, no warnings, just automatically shorts-ified
was it really that difficult to make a toggle for if the person uploading wants to make the video a short? i feel like if i upload the stuff i wanna upload as a short nobody's gonna see it cause of how specific and unfitting it is to the shorts format
