School of Management Sciences, Lucknow started its operations from the year 2008 .School of Management Sciences, Lucknow has also been very successfully running the Bachelor of Technology (B.Tech) program approved by AICTE and affiliated to Dr. A. P. J. Abdul Kalam Techincal University. The various trades of Btech, Which SMS Lucknow is offering are CSE , AIML,AIDS,AI, Civil, Mechanical and Electrical Engineering. SMS Lucknow has added the Bachelor of Business Administration (BBA), Bachelor of Computer Application (BCA), Bachelor of Commerce (B.Com) , Bachelor of Commerce (Hons.) and BVOC-Software Development program affiliated to Lucknow University. More so as per the need of the hour Masters of Business Administration (MBA) and MBA-Business Analytics Program approved by AICTE and affiliated to Dr. A. P. J. Abdul Kalam Technical University . Recently another feather in wings of SMS has been added as MBA-Business Analytics affiliated to Dr. A. P. J. Abdul Kalam Techincal University.

On June 4th 2022, the School of Management Sciences, Lucknow research & innovation center organized the 'Innovation Carnival' which displayed all the different innovative projects invented by the students of the department of engineering.
This program was inaugurated by the chief guest Shri Durga Shanker Mishra, the Chief Secretary of the UP Government. The guest of honor was Prof. Pradeep Kumar Mishra, VC, AKTU, and the special guests who graced the event were Shri Anil Kumar, Secretary (Urban Development), Shri Ajay Kumar Sharma (Member Secretary UP Pollution Control Board), Dr. Hemant O Thakare (President of The Institution of Engineers), and Shri Bhagwant Singh (Director NEDA), along with Shri Sharad Singh, (CEO & Secretary SMS, Lucknow), Prof. (Dr.) Manoj Mehrotra (Director, SMS, Lucknow), Dr. Dharmendra Singh, (Associate Director, SMS, Lucknow).
The guests appreciated the efforts made by students and their mentors. Air-O-Bike is one of such inventions that not only reduces the air pollution but also utilizes the enormous potential of air. Solar Electric Bicycle, Solar Electric Street Car, Solar Cooler, Solar Powered Refrigerator, Fluidized Bed Byer, Safety Magnetic field, etc. are the few other remarkable inventions that were showcased at the event.
SMS, Lucknow has two esteemed centers under the research & innovation center i.e. CV Raman Center of Research & Innovation & Vedic Science Center that have been spreading awareness about environmental hazards. Since 2011, several types of research focused on global concerns such as disaster management, global warming, sustainable development, etc. have been conducted. These researches and innovations will help our society how to deal with environmental threats to save the earth and humanity. Also, a book प्राणिक ऊर्जा व चिकित्सीय उपचार, एक पारस्परिक चिकित्सा पद्धति written by Director General (Technical) Dr. Bharat Raj Singh, was launched on the occasion.
