No Reading Vlog again today. Navigating the loss of my Bestie Taraia has been really difficult. Thankfully, I was able to have a reprieve from mourning by attending the Victor & Rolf Exhibit & the Black Girl Art Show in Atlanta. Me & my other Bestie Shae had a great time. I'm so glad we didn't cancel our plans. I managed to get a few clips that I will share in my next video. I have also been doing a little reading. The last slide shows what I am currently reading. Thank you all for the condolences I received in my last community post 💜
There's no weekly Reading Vlog this week. I hate to end my posting streak; however, it is with good reason. It is with a heavy heart that I share the passing of one of my best friends of 20+ years. Taraia and I graduated high school together and we became best friends in April of 2005 when we started working for the same company. For 11 years we worked side by side in the same office. After we each received promotions we went to different places, but our friendship grew stronger. It is God's grace that is keeping me during this difficult time. I thank God for His comfort (Matthew 5:4). I thank God for giving me a friendship with such a beautiful person. Please pray for her family, especially her two daughters.
