Thanks for stopping by! Why Restless? Because gardening is never static, things are always changing. There is always something to do, even if it is only planning for the next project! Gardens are never complete, they ever evolving. We are real-life gardening on a budget on 1.2 acres in Southeastern Pennsylvania, zone 6b/7a, no sponsors or free stuff. So if that interests you, welcome!
In 2022, I decided to quit my 9 to 5 career to garden for a living! I took some horticulture and design classes in early 2023 and started working at a local garden center in March 2023 and really haven't looked back. That's why we are now gardening on a budget! It's happening! We got an incredible estimate to remove both Maples so they are coming down today! Not looking forward to the mess this will create for us but the possibilities are so exciting! I can finally create the property screening I've been planning! Stay tuned for updates!

The final landscape border on the east side of our property takes shape! I spoke about this in a couple of videos and I will show it in a video when finished. The landscapers will add the big items, and you can see how tall the Schip Laurels are already, but I can't wait to add more shrubs and perennials!

We are trying to repair this woven obelisk we ordered ages ago from Terrain. This one never quite stayed together at the bottom but I love the look it brings to the garden so I want to keep it for as long as I can! Do you use structures in your gardens??

I just received the Goldspire Ginkgo tree I ordered to replace the Flame Thrower Redbud but am having second thoughts! The more I see the Redbud in this location the more beautiful I think it looks and really like how much it brings to this space. Do I keep it there and just deal with the size later by trimming it up or do I replace it with the Ginkgo which will stay much narrower? The Ginkgo will be just green in summer but it's impossible to find a picture of it that way. Help!!
