Hello Sailing into Freedom fans,
The good people at Anchor Right, namely Rex and Joy, have provided our new boat with their anchor the Sarca Excel no. 6. If you haven't heard of this anchor I urge you to watch the Youtube Channel SV Panope especially episode https://youtu.be/smgWTtFuk3U?si=H-Wl1... Look at the video at 33 minutes and 50 seconds and you will see why I got the Sarca Excel - because it is the damn best! In fact, it is the anchor that started it all but I will do some episodes on this in the future, at the moment we have a problem.....
Now all we have to do is figure out how to get it from Victoria Australia (Post code 3810) to Saigon without it costing a fortune. Do we have any ideas? Is anyone sailing to Vietnam over the next 3 or 4 months? Or flying to Vietnam and wants to sneak on some carry-on weighing 48Kg?????

Greetings to all the good people out there. The video on the new design of the ODC catamaran to undertake the Elcano Challenge is soon to be released. We have finally engaged a Vietnamese factory (2 months ago) and we have been madly supplying the proper documentation to them to start the build. 2 years of design work has been done in 1 year and we are almost there. It is a brand new boat and is far superior to the Mumby that I was going to modify and build. It will be the best cat out there to undertake the Elcano Challenge and one of the best cats out there to cruise the world. Thanks for being patient. Just waiting for structural drawing and some renders and it will be released.
