🔍 What does it mean? The temperature of an object doesn’t actually change — but how we feel it changes depending on the surrounding environment.
In winter, the air is very cold, so 25°C water feels warm.
In summer, the air is very hot, so the same 25°C water feels cold.
It’s not the water that changes — it’s our perception. So temperature is not just a physical measurement — it’s also a psychological experience.

Two videos recently caught my attention—both extremely concerning.
The first shows a police drill where individuals saying “I don’t observe Pahela Baishakh” are portrayed as criminals, being shot at and taken away. The second features a mother’s statement—her child’s toy gun was confiscated by police simply because he joined a pro-Palestine march.
These two incidents demonstrate one clear fact—Bangladesh's security forces are still operating under the old “War on Terror” framework. In this framework, Islamic speech, symbols, and even a child’s play are seen as suspicious and suppressible.
When a state drill portrays “I don’t observe Pahela Baishakh” as a symbol of criminality, it’s not just a simulation—it’s a strong message: Islamic position = crime.
This is nothing new. It’s part of a long-standing agenda—to constantly portray the public presence of Islam as a threat.
Those who remain silent today will be the victims of this inquisition tomorrow. Remember history, and how relevant Martin Niemöller’s words are in today’s reality—like fire.

ভেসে আছে এক দ্বীপ অজানা,
নীল জলে তার পথ বুনা।
মেঘের কোলে স্বপ্নের ঘর,
সোনার রোদে জ্বলছে চর।
গভীর বনে গিরি-দেবতা,
প্রাচীন বৃক্ষ, নিঃশব্দ ব্যথা।
পাতার মাঝে গল্প লেখা,
যুগের স্মৃতি চোখে দেখা।
জলপ্রপাত ছুঁয়ে যায়,

কবিতা: লজ্জার দেয়ালে বন্দী আমি
শব্দেরা এসে ঠেকে ঠোঁটের কাছে,
কিন্তু সাহস পায় না বেরোতে,
চোখে চোখ রাখতেই যেন
হারিয়ে যাই এক অচেনা নীলে।
তোমার সামনে দাঁড়ালেই কেন
মনটা কাঁপে অকারণে?
শব্দের ভীড়ে পথ হারিয়ে
থেমে যায় কথা অনায়াসে।
লজ্জার দেয়ালে বন্দী আমি,
কেমন করে খুলবো দ্বার?
ভালোবাসা কি শুধু স্বপ্ন হয়েই
বসে থাকবে দুয়ারে বারবার?
তুমি যদি বোঝতে আমার ব্যাকুলতা,
