We will be accepting any edits/fanart/videos related to Reflourished to be compiled into a video that will go up on my channel on October 15th! Submissions are open until October 12th!
We've released a hotfix APK for version 1.3.0. Please visit the download links and redownload and install the new APK to get these fixes. I'll be going over them now: - Restored support for 32-bit devices. This will resolve "App not installed because it isn't compatible with your device" and similar errors. We can only guarantee that 32-bit devices will be supported for 1.3.0: for future updates, we may remove this support if it becomes impossible to upkeep. - On the title screen, it will now be listed if your game is 32-bit or 64-bit. Look for "RFL32" or "RFL64" on the top of the title screen. If you run into any errors, you should specify what the title screen says to help us investigate. - Fixed a game crash when more than 5 Zombie Kings would attempt to spawn. This fixes the game crash on Dark Ages Night 24. - Fixed an issue where Zombert's arcade would fly off-screen resulting in his boss fight being impossible to complete. - Implemented a candidate fix for Endless Zones being instantly failed due to Sandstorm or Snowstorm ambushes.
Hey there folks! We wanted to give some advance announcement about some technical specifications of the upcoming 1.3.0 update. These will result in some changes to certain things so we'd like to talk about them in advance to give you all time to prepare.
**Discontinuing Support for 32-bit only devices:** The 1.3.0 update will be discontinuing support for devices exclusively able to read 32-bit code. We will only be supporting 64-bit devices going forward. For most players on phones, this will not make an impact. Most Android devices released after 2015 have the ability to read 64-bit code, and it is Google's standard for newer games and devices. In fact, newer Android devices are *removing* the ability to read 32-bit code.
The main impact here will be our folks on Android emulators. We're doing this announcement to give advanced notice that you should look towards copying your progression and install to an emulation instance that runs 64-bit instead. Most emulators have this option - if you have any inquiries, we may be able to assist.
If you are concerned if your phone does not support 64-bit code, you can use www.devicespecifications.com/en/ and look up your device.
**Installation Process Changes:** 1.3.0 will be overhauling the installation process. We're not gonna go over everything *just* yet (stay tuned as we get closer), but we want to go over some things that are set in stone already. We're retiring 30 fps/60 fps apks in favor of new Settings menu options that will allow you to switch directly in-game! You can see what this will look like below along with a peek at some other customization settings :eyes:...
**Notice regarding Hypothermic Hollows:** 1.3.0 will be fixing the issue with the Key not disappearing in the store. If you've beaten level 1 of the realm, the key will automatically be removed from the store upon updating. Otherwise, it will remain in the store as a visual glitch and will require buying the key again to get it to go away. The realm will remain available as long as you purchased the key prior in either case.

The official PvZ2: Reflourished Discord Server has reached *40,000* members! That's a *lot* of people! To celebrate, we want to let you know what we've been working on, what some of our future plans are, when you can expect new updates, and more!
*Minor Update in August* We have a minor game update slated for late August. This update will not contain any significant new content: we just need to expand some of our event support into the future a little bit. This update will be necessary if you wish to continue accessing new Thymed Events and the correctly intended Pinata Party levels. We will have more news about this as it comes closer.
*We're moving to 9.6!* Our next major update is slated to bump our mod up a few versions! Reflourished is currently on PvZ2 version 9.4, and we've been debating on porting the mod for a while now. We've settled on version 9.6, as we've deemed it to be the best version we can use. We'll be making the transition as smooth as possible, with new advancements that will allow us to heavily simplify the game updating process! We'll be able to share more about this as we grow closer to it, but you can expect changes to how you install the game and keep it updated starting from that release.
*What is the next major update, anyways?* The next major update will contain our 14th world, which is in development right now! Our port to 9.6 will be released alongside it.
*What's the holdup?* You may have noticed we've not released an update since March. We expected our next major update to be more prepared for a summer launch, but as time has went on that did not come to fruition. This is mostly due to a lack of animators on our team. We work on a lot of things, and over time our animator workforce has dwindled, making us struggle to keep up with all the exciting new stuff we're doing. So...
*We need Animators! Apply now!* We're looking for new animators to join our team. As this department is the one we are struggling quite a bit with, we're reducing our requirements from previous applications. Our *only* requirement is that you have knowledge of how to operate Adobe Animate as a software, as it will greatly speed things up. We have internal tutorials on how to work with the PvZ2 animation formats and everything you'll need to know. Quite a few of our animators are able to help walk you through some things, and will be glad to help if you need assistance.
We are NOT exclusively looking for people with direct animation talent. A lot of our backlogged work can end up being reskins of animations, or costume/skin animations for plants, which aren't typically heavy on new animation. If you feel you are capable of doing this and have used Adobe Animate before/do this for your own mod, please apply if you're interested.
A note: if you're not familiar with SPCUtil formats/used to working with Sen animation format, this is fine. Do note however that you may have to check your animation for errors yourself, as other animators might not be able to check it.
We are also looking for Modders that are capable of taking a finished animation, and doing the process to implement said animation into the game. This is not a requirement for the animator role, but having this assistance would also help us to continue producing our great new content.
All applications are to be sent to reflourisheddev@gmail.com. In your application, please provide examples of your work, and also state what you already know about animating for the game. These applications will not be closed after a certain date, but we will select any qualifying applicants that apply within a certain period within the coming weeks.
