When we started building Talkom, there were plenty of moments when we could have taken shortcuts.
Instead, we decided to build the right way — around Shopify’s own technology, standards, and guidelines. No hacks. No legacy tech. Just a Shopify-native approach.
This month, that decision paid off.
Shopify’s new admin design is rolling out, and Talkom already fits right in — with zero work from our side.
That’s exactly what we wanted to achieve: an AI shopping assistant that doesn’t just work with Shopify today, but is built to evolve with it.
And looking back at this photo, it’s pretty cool to see how far we’ve come.
This was us in the early days of Talkom — evenings and weekends, building next to our 9–5s.
Now we're building Talkom full-time. 🚀
