White-throated sparrow: "OH SWEET CANA — haaaawww" . The first one of the year for me was a little sleepy 🥱😴 he yawned a couple times and even softened his gaze for a little. Once a rival came by he was wide eyed and mighty. 😊 This little guy even sang for me, and it's one of the ones who comes to me for food. They are earlier this year. I wasn't expecting to see them until next week.💛 🖤🤍

I adore Boreal chickadees...and honestly, I don't think they even try that hard to be this lovable. Those rusty sides and raspy little calls, they just win you over without making a fuss. The first pic is Floofy, a male I began knowing the mid winter and the last 4 photos are of the one and only, Speckle, another male. 🤎🤍🖤
