Ric Viers is the author of The Sound Effects Bible, The Location Sound Bible and Make Some Noise (published through MWP). He is a filmmaker and sound designer who loves giving back to the next generation. Over the years, he has helped dozens of interns from around the world get started in their careers with over $250,000 in gear, software and sound effects from is companies and the big help of his sponsors. In 2014, Ric was inducted into Full Sail University's Hall Of Fame in Orlando, Florida for his contributions to the industry, the school and the students. He lives by the mantra "Make Some Noise" and encourages others to do the same in whatever they pursue.
