Hello, our names are Shirley & Fiona and we design crochet & knitting patterns for adults, children, babies, dolls, dogs and the home.

Interesting combination yes!

We are a family based business established in 2005 and we both live in the Highlands of Scotland. Shirley was taught crochet and knitting at a very early age. Her mother believed in teaching them practical crafts and we are glad she did. Shirley passed this love of crafts onto me her only daughter Fiona and together we spend hours designing, creating and having fun together.

We always have a knitting or crochet project to hand. Shirley has produced garments for local shops, crafts fairs, friends and family for many years, and also has given many lessons to people within her area.

The name ShiFio comes from a combination of our name SHIrley and my daughter FIOna.
