I know it looks like I’m just out here living the "Bubble Tea Kristin" dream (and okay, I am 😅), but I’ve been doing some MAJOR trend-spotting for you all. The boba scene in Southeast Asia is literally in the year 2030 right now.
Here are 3 trends I’m seeing on every corner in SEA that are about to hit the West:
1.) Forget "guilty pleasure." We’re talking protein-packed pearls and GABA-infused teas for stress relief. It’s "Wellness Boba" and it’s huge.
2.) Mango + Chili? Brown Sugar + Spiced foam? The sweet-and-spicy combo is the flavor profile of the year. 🌶️🥭
3.) I just watched a robot dispense a perfectly measured drink in under 30 seconds. The consistency is 10/10.
