Forgotten Groove Archive is a curated collection of AI-generated Funk, Disco & Soul inspired by the 70s and 80s.
All tracks are created by me as an AI Music Creator and AI-Assisted Music Producer, using AI as a creative studio tool.
Shaped by firsthand experience with the Funk, Disco and Soul culture of that era, each release feels like a rediscovered vinyl single with retro artwork and authentic groove.
What you hear and see is fiction — but the groove is real.

The final prepared releases are now going online. After that, new productions for Forgotten Groove Archive and Forgotten Groove Club Archive will pause for a while.
The ideas are still here. AI is not a shortcut for me to produce as much music as possible. It is the creative studio tool that allows me to make the music in my head audible. I cannot perform these ideas myself as a singer or instrumentalist, but with the help of AI, I can shape them into songs with their own character.
However, the latest versions of the tools I use no longer give me the natural voices, believable instruments and musical variety these projects need. Too often, the results now sound generic, artificial and interchangeable.
There is already more than enough AI-generated music that sounds increasingly alike. I do not want these archives to become part of that. I want to offer you songs with their own identity - carefully shaped, distinctive and worth returning to.
I would rather pause than publish music I do not truly believe in simply to maintain an upload schedule.
Thank you for listening and supporting the music. Both archives remain open. It may become quieter for a while, but the groove lives on - and new songs will return when they can sound the way they should.

Die letzten bereits vorbereiteten Veröffentlichungen gehen jetzt online. Danach wird die Produktion neuer Songs für Forgotten Groove Archive und Forgotten Groove Club Archive zunächst pausieren.
Die Ideen sind weiterhin da. KI ist für mich keine Abkürzung, um möglichst viel Musik zu produzieren. Sie ist das kreative Studio-Werkzeug, mit dem ich die Musik in meinem Kopf überhaupt erst hörbar machen kann. Ich kann diese Ideen nicht selbst als Sänger oder Instrumentalist umsetzen. Mithilfe der KI kann ich daraus jedoch Songs mit einem eigenen Charakter gestalten.
Doch die neuesten Versionen der von mir verwendeten Werkzeuge ermöglichen mir derzeit nicht mehr die natürlichen Stimmen, glaubwürdigen Instrumente und die musikalische Vielfalt, die diese Projekte benötigen. Zu oft klingen die Ergebnisse inzwischen gleichförmig, künstlich und austauschbar.
KI-generierte Musik, die zunehmend ähnlich klingt, gibt es bereits mehr als genug. Ich möchte diese Archive nicht einfach in diese Flut einreihen. Ich möchte euch Songs mit einer eigenen Identität bieten - bewusst gestaltet, unverwechselbar und so, dass man gern zu ihnen zurückkehrt.
Ich mache lieber eine Pause, als nur zur Einhaltung eines Veröffentlichungsplans Musik hochzuladen, hinter der ich selbst nicht wirklich stehe.
Danke fürs Zuhören und für eure Unterstützung. Beide Archive bleiben bestehen. Vielleicht wird es eine Zeit lang ruhiger, aber der Groove lebt weiter - und neue Songs werden zurückkehren, sobald sie wieder so klingen können, wie sie klingen sollen.

Les dernières sorties déjà préparées sont maintenant mises en ligne. Ensuite, la production de nouveaux titres pour Forgotten Groove Archive et Forgotten Groove Club Archive fera une pause.
Les idées sont toujours là. Pour moi, l’IA n’est pas un raccourci permettant de produire le plus de musique possible. C’est l’outil de studio créatif qui me permet de rendre audible la musique que j’ai en tête. Je ne peux pas interpréter moi-même ces idées en tant que chanteur ou instrumentiste, mais grâce à l’IA, je peux leur donner la forme de chansons ayant leur propre caractère.
Cependant, les versions les plus récentes des outils que j’utilise ne me permettent plus d’obtenir les voix naturelles, les instruments crédibles et la diversité musicale dont ces projets ont besoin. Trop souvent, les résultats sonnent désormais génériques, artificiels et interchangeables.
Il existe déjà suffisamment de musique générée par IA qui finit par se ressembler. Je ne veux pas que ces archives se fondent dans cette masse. Je veux vous proposer des chansons avec leur propre identité - soigneusement façonnées, distinctives et auxquelles on a envie de revenir.
Je préfère faire une pause plutôt que de publier une musique à laquelle je ne crois pas réellement, simplement pour respecter un calendrier.
Merci pour votre écoute et votre soutien. Les deux archives restent ouvertes. Ce sera peut-être plus calme pendant quelque temps, mais le groove continue de vivre - et de nouvelles chansons reviendront lorsqu’elles pourront à nouveau sonner comme elles le devraient.

I’m thinking about creating a -> separate <- YouTube channel for modern club, nu disco or soulful house versions of Forgotten Groove Archive songs.
The original Forgotten Groove Archive channel would stay unchanged and focused on the classic retro Funk, Disco & Soul sound.
The new channel would feature newly produced Nu Disco & Soulful House versions of selected songs - same archive feeling, but with a more modern dancefloor sound.
