Hello everyone,

First, thank you for all of your support of The Daily Then over the past year.
Over the last several months, we've been working on something new behind the scenes: Daily Then Kids.

Daily Then Kids is an educational channel created to help children explore the world through history, animals, science, nature, colors, shapes, and more. We've been building a library of content in multiple languages so children around the world can learn and discover together.

Because our studio is small, much of our time recently has been focused on building this new educational platform, which means The Daily Then has been a little quieter than usual.

The Daily Then isn't going away. We still have stories, documentaries, and projects we want to share in the future. For now, we're focused on growing Daily Then Kids and creating educational content for families, teachers, and young learners.

The Daily Then™

We’re proud to announce that The Daily Then has expanded with the launch of a brand-new channel: Daily Then Kids.

What began here as a small experiment in calm early learning has quickly grown into something much bigger. Daily Then Kids is now dedicated entirely to early learning content for children, with programming currently being created in 10 languages:
English, Spanish, Portuguese, German, French, Japanese, Korean, Mandarin, Hindi, and Arabic.

We believe quality educational programming should exist for every family, every culture, and every language. Every child deserves the opportunity to learn in a calm, welcoming environment that reflects the language spoken in their home and community.

Over the coming weeks, we’ll begin slowly migrating our early learning content to the new Daily Then Kids channel as it grows into its own dedicated space.

For everyone here who joined The Daily Then because of the early learning videos - thank you. Your support helped us realize there was a real audience for multilingual educational content made with care.

We’ll also be adding a featured Daily Then Kids playlist directly to the homepage of this channel. All new early learning uploads will appear there, so you’ll still be able to easily discover the newest content from within The Daily Then ecosystem while the new channel continues to grow.

2026. The Daily Then is back.

This year, we’re continuing our daily micro-history segments - small moments, big consequences, told one day at a time.

We’ve got a full year of history lined up, including Black History Month, Women’s History Month, Hispanic Heritage stories, Indigenous histories, and the moments that shaped nations, technology, power, and everyday life.

Alongside that, we’ll keep building our ongoing series - deeper dives that connect the past to the world we’re living in now.

The Daily Then™

Hey everyone - a quick update from The Daily Then.

You’ve probably noticed it’s been quiet on the channel the last couple of weeks. That wasn’t downtime. It was build time.

Behind the scenes, we’ve been working on several projects at once - and one of them is big.

First, a personal milestone: I’ve just finished writing a new book about the psychological shift happening as AI enters the human interior. It demanded a lot of focus, and it’s now complete.

And now we're back to production mode. Here’s what’s coming next:
- Civil War: Episode 2 is almost ready
- New episodes for our ongoing series are already in development
- And The Daily Then is now producing its first scripted feature film, set for release early next year

We’ll share more soon, but I wanted you to know the silence hasn’t been a slowdown - it’s been preparation for the biggest phase yet.
