Today, I am 2 years sober from alcohol.

Riffs and Recovery became my homebase for my second year in recovery. I have learned and been given so much from so many people in this group over the last year. I wrote ‘REMEMBER ME’ and ‘BUTTERFLIES’ because of the words and ideas of the people that i’ve had pleasure of sharing the room with. I’ve now inspired others as much as they’ve inspired me. I’ve been able to give back as much as i’ve taken. And i’ve made sense of myself and solidified my place in the world.

I got the opportunity to play the 1 year anniversary party of Riffs and Recovery back in July. I got to look out at a packed room full of people. I got to remember the night. I got to tell everyone that we GET to be here still. It’s a privilege.

I’m so grateful for my life and for all of you out there. I hope you understand and believe me when I tell you I appreciate you. I understand that this is all bigger than me now. I remind myself everyday.

All I am able to say for now is get ready for 2026. I will meet you all out there. ✊🏻🩸

Reminiscing on what was one of the greatest experiences of my entire life. It’s hard to not get emotional as I write this while looking back at these pictures.

It’s been about a month since tour with ‪@SculpyClub‬ ended. I flew home and immediately got back to work. Played back to back shows, got a tooth pulled, recorded new material, and everything else in between.

It’s finally started to hit me as i’ve had a moment to breathe, just how special that tour was. Day one felt like I had always been a part of the band. That’s a rare feeling in the music world. Chaz, Dyana and Mark became my family for that month out on the road. They will always be family to me.

I wanted to take a minute to say thank you. Genuinely, thank you. It’s been the most heartening experience to release these singles and see how much love you all have given them. You give my music life. It’s all because of you.

Once I release a song into the world, it’s no longer mine. I have no control over what happens. My only hope is that each song finds the right listener. Thank you for pushing my music to new heights.

It’s very hard to feel and understand what doesn’t exist in your life. But this year, i’ve finally felt what I always knew was out there for me. I’m still processing it day in and day out. But it is real. And I have you to thank for changing my reality.
