FETCH

"1. Get your dog excited by playing with him and his favorite toy. When he is fully focused on the toy, throw it, a short distance away.

2. As he heads to his toy, ask him to “fetch”. When he reaches it, praise him before immediately calling him in a cheery tone.

3. As soon as your dog moves towards you, encourage him by crouching down and praising him. Exchange his toy for a treat and repeat the process.

4. If your dog drops the toy, run over to it with him and move it to catch his interest. As he grabs it, walk backward a few paces before taking the toy from him."
