Realism Mode is exactly what Division 2 needed... or the worst thing Ubisoft could have done to it. Pick a side.
Realism Mode dropped for the Anniversary Season. No HUD, no health regen, limited ammo, longer skill cooldowns, faster TTK on both sides. It strips out most of what a year of optimised builds actually does for you.
And honestly? It splits the playerbase right down the middle.
Some of you are going to say this is Division at its best. Tense, punishing, every mistake matters.
Others are going to say it's a direct attack on the build game. If your carefully optimised loadout barely matters because a bullet kills you in two hits regardless, what's the point of chasing that perfect God-roll?
