How to overcome any fear

–
To overcome fear you've to understand what fear is and know what to do when it shows up.

The Bible says:

"For God has not given us a spirit of fear, but of power and of love and of a sound mind." — 2 Timothy 1:7.

Scripture calls fear a spirit. Not just an emotion.

That means when fear comes, you don't have to simply accept it.

You can resist it.

You can rebuke it.

You can declare God's Word over yourself.

You can say:

"I reject the spirit of fear. God has not given me the spirit of fear. I have received the Spirit of power, love, and a sound mind."

Another important way to deal with fear is to get knowledge.

Many times, fear grows because of what you don't know.

You imagine the worst.

You don't know what will happen.

You don't know how something works.

You don't know what to expect.

And your mind fills the gap with frightening possibilities.

But knowledge brings light.

The Bible says:

"My people are destroyed for lack of knowledge." — Hosea 4:6 .

This is why you should not only pray against fear, you should also get knowledge.

If you're afraid of starting a business, learn about business.

If you're afraid of witches and warlocks , study the authority and power God has given you.

If you're afraid of a particular situation, get accurate information about it.

If you're afraid because you don't understand what God is doing, study His Word and learn His character.

And there's another powerful Scripture:

"There is no fear in love; but perfect love casts out fear." — 1 John 4:18.

The more deeply you understand God's love for you, the less room fear has to control you.

So when fear comes, don't just run from it.

Confront it.

Ask yourself:

"What exactly am I afraid of?"

"What don't I know about this?"

"What does God's Word say about it?"

"What practical knowledge do I need?"

Then take your stand.

Rebuke the fear.

Get the knowledge.

Believe God's Word.

Take the necessary action.

And remember the words of David:

"Yea, though I walk through the valley of the shadow of death, I will fear no evil: for You are with me." — Psalm 23:4 (NKJV)

Every believer must know this

One mistake many believers make is thinking that everything is entirely up to God.

They see a promise in Scripture and simply say:

“God will do it.”

But many times, that's not how God's promises work.

You have a part to play.

God may make the promise, but He also gives instructions, conditions, or principles that you must follow.

Think about salvation.

Salvation is available to everyone through Jesus Christ.

But the only way to receive it is to believe in your heart and confess with your mouth that Jesus is Lord.

We must respond to what God has provided.

So even with salvation, there is a part you must play.

The same principle appears throughout Scripture.

For example, God says:

“If My people who are called by My name will humble themselves, and pray and seek My face, and turn from their wicked ways, then I will hear from heaven…”

Notice the pattern:

God makes the promise.
But He also gives the condition.

There is something for you to do.

And this principle applies to many areas of your life.

Whether you want wisdom, favor, prosperity, healing, direction, or growth, when you pray also ask:

“Lord, what do You want ME to do?”

As you study the Bible, listen to sermons, read Christian books, and spend time in prayer, look for the instructions.

What does Scripture tell you to do?

What principle are you supposed to apply?

What action are you supposed to take?

And sometimes, the Holy Spirit will give you specific instructions.

Maybe it's something you need to change in your business.

Maybe it's a decision you need to make.

Maybe it's a person you need to forgive.

Maybe it's a prayer you need to pray.

Maybe it's an instruction concerning your family, your finances, your calling, or your spiritual life.

The general principles are found in God's Word.

But the Holy Spirit can also give you specific guidance for your specific situation.

And that's why developing a relationship with the Holy Spirit is so important.

He helps you understand God's Word.

He guides you.

He teaches you.

And He can show you what you need to do.

So whenever you see a promise in Scripture, don't just claim the promise.

Look for your part.

Ask:

“Holy Spirit, what do You want me to do?”

How To Hear The Voice Of God Clearly
–

Have you ever wondered:

“Is that God speaking to me… or is it just my own thoughts?”

This is one of the most important questions a Christian can learn to answer.

Jesus said:

“My sheep hear My voice, and I know them, and they follow Me.”
— John 10:27 NKJV.

Jesus didn't say:

“My pastors hear My voice.”

He didn't say:

“My prophets hear My voice.”

He said:

“My sheep hear My voice.”

If you belong to Christ, you have the capacity to hear Him.

The problem for many believers isn't that God never speaks.

The problem is that they haven't learned how to recognize His voice.

There are thoughts coming into your mind all day.

Some are your own thoughts.

Some can be influenced by other people.

Some can come from the enemy.

And sometimes, God can bring a thought, conviction, instruction, or impression to your heart.

So how do you know the difference?

Here is how to start hearing God clearly.

1. Read the Word of God.

The more you know Scripture, the easier it becomes to recognize what agrees with God.

Sometimes you're reading the Bible and a particular verse suddenly speaks directly to what you're going through.

That's one reason you need to become deeply familiar with God's Word.

If you want to recognize God's voice, you need to know God's Word.

2. Build your prayer life.

Prayer isn't just talking.

You also need to learn how to listen.

As you spend time with God, especially in prayer and praying in the Spirit, you may begin to notice impressions, convictions, or thoughts that give you direction.

But don't assume every thought is automatically God.

Test it.

Bring it back to Scripture.

3. God can speak in different ways.

God spoke through dreams.

He spoke through visions.

He spoke through prophets.

He spoke through angels.

He spoke directly to people.

And God can still communicate with His children in different ways.

But don't make supernatural experiences the standard for knowing God.

You don't need to hear an audible voice before you can be led by God.

And someone saying, “God told me…” doesn't automatically mean they have greater access to God than you do.

Your goal isn't to chase experiences.

Your goal is to know God and follow Him.

4. Test what you hear.

The Bible says:

“Beloved, do not believe every spirit, but test the spirits, whether they are of God...”
— 1 John 4:1 NKJV.

This is critical.

Not every voice is God's voice.

Not every thought is God's thought.

And not every spiritual experience is from God.

One of the greatest tests is the Word of God.

God will never contradict His own Word.

That's why Scripture is so important.

The more you know the Bible, the better equipped you become to distinguish truth from deception.

God wants you to know Him.

He wants you to walk with Him.

And learning to recognize His voice is part of developing that relationship.

You can hear God.

But you must learn how to recognize His voice.

Prayers that protect your life
–
One prayer that can save you from making the wrong decision is the prayer of divine direction.

“Lord, what should I do?”
“Which way should I go?”

“Is this Your will?”

David understood the importance of this prayer.

When he faced battles, he didn't simply rely on his experience, courage, or previous victories.

He asked God.

In 1 Samuel 23, David asked the LORD whether he should fight the Philistines.

God answered him.
But when David's men became afraid, David asked God again.

Later, after the Amalekites attacked Ziklag and took their families and possessions, David asked:

“Shall I pursue this troop? Shall I overtake them?”
God answered:

“Pursue, for you shall surely overtake them and without fail recover all.”

David understood something many of us forget:
Having experience doesn't mean you know what God wants you to do next.

That's why Proverbs 3:5–6 says:

“Trust in the LORD with all your heart, And lean not on your own understanding; In all your ways acknowledge Him, And He shall direct your paths.”
— Proverbs 3:5–6 NKJV.

Your education is valuable.
Your experience is valuable.

Your intelligence and skills are valuable.

But none of them can see what God sees.
Sometimes the opportunity that looks perfect is the wrong opportunity.

Sometimes the relationship that looks right isn't right for you.

Sometimes the door you're desperate to enter leads somewhere God never intended you to go.

So don't make decisions based only on what looks good.

Before making any major decisions, and even some of the seemingly obvious ones, pause and ask:

“Lord, what do You want me to do?”

Then be willing to obey His answer.
Because God sees what you cannot see.

You see the opportunity.
He sees what is attached to it.
You see today.

He sees tomorrow.
You see the door.

He knows where it leads.
Make this your daily prayer:

“Father, direct my steps today. Show me what to do and what to avoid. Give me wisdom to recognize Your leading and courage to obey You.

Close every door that is not Your will for my life, and lead me in the way You have prepared for me. Holy Spirit, guide me into truth. In Jesus' name, Amen.”

Every believer NEEDS this (Even Jesus needed this)

One of the prayers you should pray every day if you want to experience victory, breakthrough, and fulfillment of your God-given purpose is the prayer for favor.

Throughout Scripture, we see people who experienced extraordinary breakthroughs because they found favor.

Joseph found favor even in difficult places.
Esther found favor before the king.

And even Jesus increased in favor with God and with men.

Luke 2:52 says:

“And Jesus increased in wisdom and stature, and in favor with God and men.”

There are two dimensions of favor you should continually seek.

Favor with God.

This speaks of growing in your relationship with God.

This is drawing closer to Him, receiving His wisdom and direction, and walking in His purposes.

And then there is favor with man.

This is when God causes people to look upon you favorably, help you, remember you, open doors for you, or give you opportunities that you could not create by yourself.

You need both.

Because sometimes you can have an opportunity in front of you, but you need favor with the person who has the authority to give you access to it.

Sometimes you have the ability, but you need someone to recognize it.

Sometimes you are qualified, but you need God to cause someone to remember your name.

That's why favor matters.

Psalm 5:12 says:
“For You, O LORD, will bless the righteous; With favor You will surround him as with a shield.”

Favor can surround you like a shield.

So don't only pray for money, opportunities and breakthroughs.

Pray for favor.

So starting today, make the prayer for favor part of your daily prayers.

Daily prayers for victory (2)
–
The second prayer I believe every Christian should make part of their daily routine is :

“Lord, open my eyes.”

Paul prayed something similar for the believers in Ephesus:

“The eyes of your understanding being enlightened…”
— Ephesians 1:18 NKJV.

Notice what Paul prayed.

He wasn't asking God to give them physical eyes.

He was praying for the eyes of their understanding to be opened.

And this is much bigger than seeing visions or dreams.

Having your eyes opened can mean having light over a situation.

It can mean suddenly understanding something you couldn't understand before.

It can mean discernment.

Knowing which opportunity to take.

Knowing which deal to avoid.

Knowing what decision to make.

Recognizing when something isn't what it appears to be.

Because one of the biggest dangers in life is making decisions based only on what you can see.

Something can look good on the outside and still be wrong for you.

A person can look trustworthy and still have motives you cannot see.

An opportunity can look attractive and still lead you into trouble.

That's why spiritual discernment is so important.

Think about Elisha in 2 Kings 6.

The Syrian army had surrounded the city.

When Elisha's servant saw them, he panicked.

But Elisha was calm.

Why?

Because Elisha could see something his servant couldn't see.

So Elisha prayed:

“LORD, I pray, open his eyes that he may see.”
— 2 Kings 6:17 NKJV.

And when God opened his eyes, he saw that the mountain was full of horses and chariots of fire surrounding Elisha.

The situation hadn't suddenly changed.

His ability to see the situation had changed.

And sometimes that's what we need.

We see the problem.

God sees the provision.

We see the opposition.

God sees the help surrounding us.

We see the closed door.

God sees the door we haven't discovered yet.

So before you step out today, pray:

“Lord, open my eyes.”

Ask Him:

Show me what I need to see.

Show me the opportunities I should recognize.

Show me what I need to avoid.

Give me discernment concerning the people I meet.

Give me wisdom concerning the decisions I make.

Show me where to go and where not to go.

And that's how you'll walk in supernatural provision and victory.

Prayers for Daily Victory (Part 1)

The life of a believer is supposed to be filled with daily victories and successes…

And there are prayers that'll help to make that happen.

One of these prayer I believe every Christian should learn to pray every single day is …

“Lord, give me wisdom.”

Why?

Because wisdom affects your decisions.

Wisdom is knowing the right decisions to make or what to do and the best time to do it.

The Bible says:

“Wisdom is the principal thing; Therefore get wisdom.” — Proverbs 4:7.

Think about how many areas of your life are affected by your decisions.

Your finances.

Your relationships.

Your business.

Your career.

Your family.

Your spiritual life.

One wrong decision can create problems.

But one wise decision can save you years of unnecessary trouble.

That's why James 1:5 gives us this powerful instruction:

“If any of you lacks wisdom, let him ask of God, who gives to all liberally and without reproach.”.

You don't have to pretend you know everything.

You don't have to figure everything out by yourself.

You can ask God.

And you can be specific.

“Lord, give me wisdom concerning my business.”

“Give me wisdom concerning my marriage.”

“Give me wisdom concerning my finances.”

“Give me wisdom concerning this decision.”

“Give me wisdom to know what to do today.”

Even Jesus needed to increase in wisdom to fulfil his destiny.

Luke 2:52 tells us that Jesus increased in wisdom.

So wisdom can grow.

And one of the simplest ways to begin growing in divine wisdom is to make it a consistent part of your prayer life.

So before you rush into your day, pray:

“Father, give me wisdom today. Give me understanding. Give me discernment. Help me make the right decisions and recognize what I should avoid. Lead me according to Your will. In Jesus' name, Amen.”

How to resist the devil
–
To succeed in spiritual warfare you've to know how to resist the devil.

The Bible says:

“Therefore submit to God. Resist the devil and he will flee from you.” — James 4:7 NKJV»l.

So you first submit to God. Then resist the devil.

If you're dealing with attacks in any area of their life…maybe your health, marriage, finances, children, or other areas where God has given you authority.

And you don't actively resist the devil…

He will not flee.

And like I've said this many times:

Anything you keep silent about will remain.

The devil is a rebel.

He doesn't respect boundaries simply because God has established them.

If you want him to leave, you have to resist him.

So how do you resist the devil?

Here is one powerful way:

You resist him in prayer.

But there's something important you need to understand about this.

When you're praying to God, you're approaching Him as a priest.

You worship. You praise. You give thanks. You make requests. You ask God to intervene.

But when you're dealing with the devil, the approach is different.

You don't beg the devil.

You command him.

Imagine someone physically trying to attack you. You wouldn't simply stand there silently while they hit you.

You would push back.

You would tell them to stop.

You would yell at them.

That's the attitude you need when dealing with the enemy.

That's exactly how to resist.

Be firm. Be direct. Be militant.

You can say:

“Devil, get your hands off my life!”

“I command you to get out of my house!”

“Get your hands off my finances!”

“Get your hands off my health!”

“You have no place in my family!”

“I command you to leave in the name of Jesus!”

And you make these declarations in a forceful and loud tone of anger.

That's how Jesus rebuked devils.

So when next you pray, remember to resist the enemy correctly.

The danger of powerless Christianity
–
One of the most dangerous conditions a Christian can find himself in is this:

Being powerless.

Think about it.

You are born again. You have the Holy Spirit. You have the Word of God. You carry the name of Jesus.

Yet it is possible to live without experiencing the measure of spiritual power God wants to work through your life.

Jesus said:

«“Blessed are those who hunger and thirst for righteousness, For they shall be filled.”
— Matthew 5:6 NKJV»

Notice the words:

Hunger. Thirst.

There has to be a desire for more of God.

Look at Jesus.

After His baptism, He was led by the Spirit into the wilderness, where He fasted for forty days.

Then Luke 4:14 says:

“Then Jesus returned in the power of the Spirit to Galilee…”
— Luke 4:14 NKJV

And before Jesus left the earth, He told His disciples:

“But tarry in the city of Jerusalem until you are endued with power from on high.”
— Luke 24:49 NKJV

Tarry until you are endued with power.

That's why I say:

You have to tarry to carry.

Tarrying means seeking God through prayer, fasting, His Word, and consecration.

It isn't always comfortable.

Sometimes your flesh wants to quit.

But if you're tired of the status quo…

If you want to become more effective in prayer, evangelism, and ministry…

If you want to grow in your relationship with the Holy Spirit…

Don't just wish for more. Seek God for more.

And remember, God's power isn't about making you look important.

It's about making you more useful to Him.

What God Says About Your Prosperity
–

There is a great deal of controversy surrounding the “prosperity gospel.”

Some Christians have rejected the message because they have seen money, luxury, and material possessions presented as proof of spiritual success.

Others have reacted so strongly against these abuses that they seem to suggest that God has nothing to do with the prosperity or material provision of His people.

But Scripture gives us a more balanced picture.

The Bible does not teach that every Christian will become wealthy, nor does it teach that possessions are proof that someone is more spiritual.

At the same time, Scripture clearly teaches that God provides for His people and gives them resources for purposes greater than themselves.

In other words, it's God's will for His children to be prosperous.

This is what you can do with your God given prosperity.

1. Use it to provide for yourself and your family.

“Those unwilling to care for their relatives... have denied the true faith.” — 1 Timothy 5:8

God cares about responsible provision. Prosperity should help you meet legitimate needs and care for those entrusted to you.

2. Use it to advance the Kingdom of God.

“Honor the LORD with your wealth, with the best part of everything you produce.” — Proverbs 3:9

Your resources can support churches, ministries, missions, evangelism, and the preaching of the Gospel.

3. Use it to help the poor and needy.

“Give generously to the poor, not grudgingly, for the LORD your God will bless you in everything you do.” — Deuteronomy 15:10

God never intended blessing to terminate with us.

What He puts in our hands can become an answer to someone else's prayer.

4. Use it to create and support productive work.

“The LORD your God... gives you the ability to produce wealth.” — Deuteronomy 8:18

God can give people wisdom, skills, ideas, opportunities, and resources to create value and generate wealth.

Prosperity can provide employment and opportunities for others.

5. Use it to be generous.

“You should remember the words of the Lord Jesus: ‘It is more blessed to give than to receive.’” — Acts 20:35

Biblical prosperity is not merely about having more. It is about having enough to become a blessing.

Paul told the wealthy believers in his day to “be rich in good works and generous to those in need.” — 1 Timothy 6:18

6. Use it to leave a godly legacy.

“A good person leaves an inheritance for their children’s children.” — Proverbs 13:22

There is nothing inherently unspiritual about preparing for the next generation.

Your prosperity can help educate your children, establish businesses, support future ministry, meet family needs, and create opportunities that continue beyond your lifetime.

But Note:

Our financial condition is not the measure of our spiritual value.

Jesus Himself warned:

“Life is not measured by how much one owns.” — Luke 12:15

The goal is not to chase riches.

The goal is to seek God, obey Him, steward what He gives us, and become a blessing to others.

Prosperity is most powerful when it becomes a tool in the hands of someone whose heart belongs completely to God.

That's the truth of the matter.
