FGN Savings Bond Is Open, Closes March 6
The March 2026 window just opened today.
Here are the rates:
🔹 2-Year – 12.906% p.a.
🔹 3-Year – 13.906% p.a.
But here’s the catch…
In February, this same bond was offering 15.356% p.a. and over ₦5.9 billion was subscribed.
So yes, yields have dropped.
This could mean borrowing pressure is easing or rates are starting to moderate.
Now the real question is simple:
Is 13% still worth locking in for 2–3 years… or are you positioning elsewhere?
The window closes March 6.

📌 Market News Update – NGX Suspends Zichis Share Trading! 🇳🇬📉
The Nigerian Exchange (NGX) has paused trading in the shares of Zichis Agro-Allied Industries Plc after its stock price shot up by an unbelievable 772.36% in just about a month since listing. Regulators say this kind of rapid rise looks odd and potentially risky, so they’ve launched a formal investigation to understand what’s really going on behind the scenes.
This move is meant to protect everyday investors because when prices skyrocket without clear business reasons, it can trap people into buying at high levels only to suffer big losses later.
So here’s my message to all of you: 📣 Don’t chase quick price spikes or headlines, invest based on real fundamentals, like company performance, earnings growth, and long-term value. That’s what builds real wealth, not temporary paper gains.

Companies are rebuilding, profits are improving, and momentum is growing.
💡 If you’ve been waiting on the sidelines, this could be a reminder that opportunities often show up when confidence starts coming back.

Is Gift Taxable?
Let me ask you a question. If someone sends you money and writes “GIFT” in the bank narration…does that automatically make it tax-free? Most Nigerians confidently say YES. But the truth is far more complicated and far more dangerous if you don’t understand it.
In this video, I explained when a gift is truly a gift, and when it quietly becomes taxable income under Nigeria’s new tax regime.
