For those that have watched part 2 or were planning to watch it, unfortunately we’ve had to take it down. The family of the deceased were very upset by it.
We decided to release part 2 in the first place after consulting with Imaams whom gave us the green light that the person in question is anonymous to the wider public and it benefits and educates the wider public. This is why we released part 2.
However, in-spite of it having benefit through educating and through awareness, prevention; it has caused regrettable emotional harm to the family of the deceased for it to remain up.
This is why we’ve taken it down, to not cause the family harm.
We have taken the decision of removing our recent episode and subsequently part 2 will not be posted this Friday.
We appreciate and understand that some of you are looking forward to watching the second part, however after liaising with the family of the deceased, they have strongly opposed publication (understandably).
In addition, we have been advised Islamically that this is the right thing to do.
It is worth noting the sisters intention, which was to highlight and bring about awareness to undiagnosed mental health issues stemming from childhood traumas, thoroughly explained in part 2 (unfortunately won’t be shown) that led to said abuses and the tragedy. This was her intention of coming on, her personal experiences were merely provided for context, educational and preventative measures.
