I have VHL syndrome, which caused me to lose sight in my left eye at 16. After years of pain and visible changes to my blind eye, I chose to have it removed. In June 2025, I underwent enucleation at Moorfields Eye Hospital in London. I'm currently healing and preparing for my prosthetic eye—and sharing it all here.
