The Journey Continues: The Prayerful Path Today

It’s been quite a ride since that first prayer at St. Jude’s Church. The Prayerful Path started from a moment of raw desperation and faith, and while the road has been far from easy, I’m so grateful for where we are today.

Since that first video, things have grown—little by little, step by step. We’ve crossed 7,000 subscribers, and it’s truly amazing to see this community growing. We’ve prayed daily, shared Novenas, Litanies, and even celebrated special Feast Days together. Every single prayer request left in the comments reminds me that this is not just a YouTube channel—it’s a community.

But, if I’m being honest, the journey hasn’t always been easy. Posting daily Rosaries, responding to each prayer request, and keeping up with everything has felt like a grind at times. Money is still tight, and there are moments when worries and fears threaten to overwhelm me. Yet, through all of it, I keep reminding myself: God is in control.

The growth might not always be as fast as I’d like, but it’s never about the numbers. It’s about praying for each other, lifting each other up in faith, and trusting that God is using this little space to bring hope to those who need it most.

I’m still here, still praying, still trusting. And I know that, just like St. Jude reminded me, God is always listening, even in the quiet moments, even when things feel uncertain.

So, what’s next?
Well, we’ll keep praying. Daily Rosaries, Novenas, Feast Day prayers, and more. But I also want to hear from you. What do you need? What would help you pray more? Let me know in the comments—I’m here to walk with you on this journey of faith.

The Prayerful Path

“When Heaven Is Silent”

I knelt where shadows kissed the floor,
Where whispered hopes I’d laid before.
Each candle lit, each tear I cried,
Still met with silence, deep and wide.

I poured my soul like broken wine,
Each prayer a plea, “O Lord, a sign!”
Yet silence wrapped the midnight air,
And left me trembling in despair.

The days grew long, the nights grew cold,
My weary hands could not yet hold
The healing or the peace I sought—
Just aching prayers, with answers not.

Why, O my God, this waiting pain?
This thorn that cuts, this endless strain?
Have You not seen? Have You not heard
Each tear-stained psalm, each yearning word?

But in the hush, a whisper stirred—
Not loud, but clear—His timeless Word:
“I see. I know. I weep with you.
My time is perfect. I’ll come through.”

Though prayers may float on silent skies,
Though answers hide from tearful eyes,
My faith is not in what I see—
But in the One who died for me.

So I will trust, though mountains shake,
Though dreams dissolve and heart may break.
For God is near, though veiled from view—
And in His time, He will come through.
