I have a new setup that allows me to play dos games that otherwise would be not available anywhere for sale, this is just an example but expect more stuff that's nowhere to be found also per pc gaming from now on.

This week is ending tomorrow, it's 5 days after all, very salary man of me.
But yeah, computer emulation is a mess and AmigaLive being online only is not for me.

A pity because i liked a lot of the games, but life is but a fleeting dream and i can't play everything ever created (and i don't want to) so this is a good compromise.

Ok, the test with the arcade cabinet went well, i finshed setting up everything last weekend, so you'll be seeing them regularly when we do shorter titles from now on.

I'm sorry but Elder Scrolls Arena is canned. I will have two parts up but yeah, it's not for me.

Mostly because there's so many limitations, i arrive at a point where wepons don't do damage to certain enemies and you need specific stuff to kill them.

Plus you need to grind missions between various parts of the main quest, i abandoned Breath of Fire 2 because of the grind.

Apparently all Elder Scrolls on DOS are like this so i give up, Morrowind was the first in the series for me, that's it.

Bleh.

So i have decided to give the early Elder Scroll games a full playthrough, that means that Arena, Daggerfall, Redguard & Battlespire are going to be played at one point in time or the other.

Arena, i'm working understanding how to mod DOS games so that i get better looking text and menus so that you can see it better.

You'll see that one really soon, if not by January by February for sure.

The next upload is also really exciting. One of my absolute favourite console RPGs, Lufia II.

Listen, i've tried these past few months to gel with Landstalker and give you a playthrough.
I've played Light Crusader so i've got no problems with isometric platforming action.
But this game commits a grave sin for me: there's no character shadow.

One year later, i finally managed to finish Ristar.

The final boss needed some understanding and it required some time, it's some real complicated stuff that one.

So i tried to keep playing Breath of Fire 2 off-stream to see if i could record gameplay of it anyway, like a dear friend of mine suggested, it seemed like a good idea.

Since i keep track of stats and my progress for review purposes, here the laydown of the situation: i played an extra 15 hours, of those 5 were progress, 10 for grinding.

I can't play this even on my own, it's even more grindy than Phantasy Star II, can't stand it sorry.

I'll play Breath of Fire 3 and 4 when we get to the 32bit era, but yeah, i'll move on to other RPGs soon.

I know there's been a bit of a confusion, because of Secret of Mana Turbo, at 19 today, Rome time, will go the actual first part of Secret of Mana up on the vod channel.

I've decided to go for the original game, after all. It's slower, but easier and less button mashy.

Since we lost time monday morning at 9, maybe even earlier, i'll start a GIGAMEGA SECRET OF MANA STREAM, THE CATCHING UP OF THE CENTURY! to make up for the lost time.

Tune in at that date and time and let's see how really far i can take it! (of course i'll have a lunch break)
