Hey, I’m Mel — an adventurer, mum and lover of wild places.

I’m building a life around adventure — exploring wild places, challenging myself, seeking out incredible wildlife encounters and bringing my daughter Zoe along for as much of it as I can.

Sometimes that means disappearing down a forgotten gravel road, bikepacking somewhere remote or living out of my 4WD. Other times it’s travelling somewhere completely new in search of wildlife, culture and experiences we’ll remember for the rest of our lives.

And there are some much bigger adventures on the horizon as I rebuild my body and work towards long-distance trail running and endurance adventures.

This channel is the story of that life as I build it — not just the big bucket-list trips, but the smaller adventures, setbacks, training and everyday moments that happen along the way.
