This sweet boy has faced more challenges in the past year than any pup should, and yet his spirit remains as vibrant as ever. We’re reaching out to share his latest chapter and ask for your help to keep his tail wagging.

Percy did have some complications before surgery with a reaction to one of the meds they were giving him. he almost didn't get the surgery because of it! 🤞🙏

Percy recently underwent his second knee surgery in just one year. Last year, he tore his first ACL, and this year, his other knee suffered the same fate. The surgeon described this latest injury as “hanging on by a thread,” barely salvageable—but, thanks to their skill, Percy’s knee was repaired. While we’re beyond grateful for this outcome, our hearts are heavy with worry about Percy’s arthritis, which has developed as a result of these injuries, and any underlying conditions that may be contributing to his struggles. For now, we’ve tackled what we can, but the road to recovery is long, and we want to ensure Percy gets every chance to live his happiest, healthiest life.

The costs for Percy’s surgery, follow-up care, and ongoing treatment have added up to $6,500. We know this is a significant amount, and we’re not expecting to cover it all, but any contribution—big or small—will make a world of difference for our brave boy. "Our hearts are breaking, but it has become medically necessary for my husband and I to rehome our beloved Senior (13-year-old) fur baby.

“Bender” is a beautiful American Red Nosed Pitt. With a longer snout, full tail and ears, he actually resembles a fawn.

Bender is a big-time snuggle-bug, always extremely lovable and affectionate. If you’re sitting on the couch, he loves to curl up next to you, or flop in your lap. His soulful eyes and generous licks/kisses reflect his sweet disposition.

A creature of habit, you can set your clock/cell phone by his outside potty breaks, snack and meal times, the time he goes night-night and when he wakes up.

Gentle with kids, Bender also gets along with other dogs, but because he is older he prefers medium-small dogs.

He is primarily an inside dog and develops a little separation anxiety if left out longer than to go potty and roam around for a little while. Because of my husband’s and my health conditions, he hasn’t been walked that much lately so he will go for short walks to begin with. He loves to sleep with his “pack” - in our room, but in his own bed.

Did I mention he looooves car rides!??!!

Aside from taking Cosequin once daily for his joints, Bender is healthy and could have several good years ahead with the right companion(s), owner.

6 years ago today God sent one of his angels to this earth and in some lucky way he found his way into my life! The first day I got zeusy I got him from San Diego. We were living in Big Bear at the time which is about a 3-hour drive from San Diego up a winding mountain to 7,000 ft elevation. It had snowed over a foot that night so we decided to get a hotel room and stay the night and wait for the daytime. That night I recorded Zeusy first video with his little Santa with him talking to me. I never thought I would ever post a video online of Zeusy it was all for me.

I put Zeusys video online just to save it. I'm so horrible at losing videos and pictures. Deleting stuff on accident. Then out of nowhere. Like a year later I'm getting notifications of getting half a million views a day and thousands of followers. So that's how my boy became a voice to help pitbulls and bully breeds all over the world and change the narrative on these beautiful souls 🙏❤️

Our community we've created here is something that I could never have imagined we could be a part of. The constant love and support we get from everyone is beyond words and we are so thankful to be able to show how beautiful these dogs can be when given love and not hate. Thank you everyone for being a part of our lives and helping us continue to grow and show everyone that the narrative the media pushes is disgusting. Any dog breed can be aggressive on how you raise them and how you parent them. I pray zeusy has six more years with all of us! We wanted to thank everyone that donated to help cover Percys vet bills for the second time this year ❤️ whether it was a donation or just taking time out to watch or share an extra video or two mean everything to us! We hit our goal in about 24 hours 🤯

To be able to have this amazing community that we built from just the love of my dogs is beyond words to me. I feel so blessed like God has just given me these two beautiful souls that have brought my life to a place I never thought I could be. I never thought I would have such a big family that would love and support us.. I'm just so taken back and I wish I had the words to describe how much I appreciate and love everybody in our community. I wish we could all get together and just have a big party and celebrate all of our pups together!

We will be taking Zeus to the beach for his birthday in a couple weeks here. Just as long as I can find the time off. Working both jobs now. But the day we are off I will let everyone know and if you want to come do a meet and greet at the beach for Zeusy s Birthday! It would be such a fun time to be able to play at the beach with some of the people that love Zeusy so much!

He did come home this morning and when he came home he went outside to use the bathroom for the first time in a couple days and I noticed in his poop he had a full squeaker from a squeaky toy in it. He did stay overnight last night at the hospital and they had an IV connected to him to flush him out with fluids and it definitely worked! I'm so thankful for all the doctors and nurses over at Blue diamond animal hospital! But please go watch the video on Percy's page for more info. Thank you everybody for your love and support. We got probably close to a thousand messages from everyone and I felt all the love and prayers from everyone! We might post the GoFundMe to help with some of the medical bills. I wanted to give everybody a heads up that Percy had x-rays this morning and they do see some blockage in his intestines. He's going to stay overnight at the vet hospital so he can get fluids for the next 12 hours to see if it could flush out. If not, the next step would be immediate surgery.. I will give more updates tomorrow when we find out more. Thank you everyone for all your love and support for my lil boy. I hardly slept with him throwing up throughout the night 😔
