She use to love to jump but she sadly can't anymore just trail ride. But her favorite thing to do is eat so she has to stay on a diet! And then she breaks the fence every night cause she gets mad bc I "don't feed her enough" in her words. But she gets enough I promise. She looks pregnant!!

So we got a update on Ferrari. She is 100% done with being rode, she tore her superficial digital flexor tendon which is the biggest tendon in their front leg. She also has almost no range of motion in her back hock area from her old scar "from barbed wire", and looks like she has arthritis in her hock from the scar tissue. So in saying that she is coming home bc she obviously can't be worked!
We have to talk to the vet more, but we are going to try our hardest to get her back in top shape! It breaks my heart that I was riding her and she's was hurting that bad. We knew she had problems but nothing like this, our local vet just told she had navicular, no x-ray, no pain med, just told us to find a good farer🙄 which we have an amazing farer that doesn't do much work on hooves anymore but he still does for us! I also cannot tell you how mad I am at the vet for not caring to go further into it or try to help us, but there isn't anything I can do about it now. We have been working with an amazing vet that works with/on performance horses.
